What's the best place to get music nowadays?

What's the best place to get music nowadays?

Am I forever doomed to use YoutubeToMP3 or Soundcloud?

private trackers ya numb nut

>Tfw too autistic to get into private trackers.
At least rutracker has some rare stuff.

rutracker

>ever using YouTube audio converters
gtfo my Sup Forums

install gentoo

Scrubbing spotify cache

> not listening to music obscure enough that it's only on youtube
pleb

A better question is where to get audiobooks
and if you aren't using the Sup Forums archive for music you're a retard

YouTube Music has an impressively comprehensive catalogue of music with high quality audio. Just use any piece of software that can download YT videos.

Also
>converting them to mp3
why?

aren't most of them converting in hq? or did I get memed

this

vk

yeah rutracker is fucking great...seems to have really obscure stuff

You can't convert something low quality into high quality.

Russian Facebook?

wat

iTunes and Amazon music, Jamal.

Hear song on radio. Remember lyrics. Google lyric: get song and band. Punch that into aMule. Go to top 100 site, get names of current/new tunes. Punch that into aMule. Let aMule run 24/7. Bam, lotsa tunes.

this.

What the fuck is this and how does it work

what the hell is rutracker?

Honestly, spotify.

I know its closed source and botnet but who cares if they track my music.

I still try to maintain a good private collection for doomsday but much of the indie stuff on spotify just isn't on trackers.

10 bucks a month for access to basically every song is a pretty reasonable business model.

Write and then record your own music.

I rarely buy individual songs. Instead I listen to dublab and download the full dj sets. If I want an individual song from a set I buy it.

Also buying CD's isn't dead. There've been a few albums on youtube that I wanted good rips of so I spent $10 to have the CD shipped to my door.

youtube-dl or torrent websites for whole albums

implying anyone wants the fucking headache of dealing with those autistic elitests.

use public trackers for common stuff. if it's so obscure that you have to rip it from YouTube, just buy it online (if available).

>not having a Spotify premium subscription
>saving music files to a single device

Shit user why don't you just go full hipster and have music on some kind of overly romanticised physical storage medium?

>paying for a music streaming service that has no music
why would i do that

What autismo shit are you trying to listen to that isn't on Spotify?

aren't the "topic" ones ok? seems like they come directly from the music label

mikudb. You'll never need another music site again.

> dublab

Why have I never heard of this before? This is amazing.

You don't need to convert, idiot. Youtube streams it in Opus and AAC, which pretty much everything supports. Going through another lossy conversion to MP3 is pants on head retarded.

Things autismo enough to be on YouTube and private trackers.

>2017
>Paying to rent music from a limited library such as Spotify that probably doesn't even have any mild-obscure stuff.
>Not having a DLNA/UPnP server at home with any music you want and can stream for free forever universally on any device on your favorite media player.

Funnily enough-
This.

Youtube has it's own ecosystem for rare shit these days.

Soulseek.

I went on after what.cd died and it has everything that private trackers do.

Lot of stuff that I couldn't find on what.cd I ended up finding on slsk.

There is stuff on YouTube you can't find ANYWHERE. Like lot of 90s/early 2000 dance/electronic music is only there. Same with some italodisco stuff.
