>>latest update: nyaa sent an email and confirmed it's gone for good. and yes, it was due to the EU ruling. and no, db is almost surely wiped. Source? Did we finally get contact from the admin?
stopping fat loser NEET thieves from stealing cartoons that they should buy on DVD or subscribe to crunchyroll for.
Nicholas Harris
database user is sleeping calm your tits faggot
Isaiah Myers
Sukubei though
Jacob Brooks
>and no, db is almost surely wiped WAS IT VOLUNTARY OR SEIZED? If it was voluntary the DB should be fucking fine, right?
Jose Hill
> No db from the nyaa guy, probably.
David Reyes
Seems to be a choice... then again it could be "I decided to do it(with a gun to my head )"
Justin Perez
Read the thread, apparatus he's wiped everything.
Luke Kelly
Is it dangerous to use magnet links in uTorrent ? Should I really use some shitty torrent program now ?
Christopher Brooks
apparently*
Landon Rogers
oops
Parker Bailey
What's wrong with perfect dark? Don't say unity, because 40 GB is nothing. And don't say pizza, because that shit might as well be random if there's no way for you or anyone else to decrypt it (you'd have to subpoena several people including the person who was actually trying to download the pizza the first place).
Owen Diaz
Oh joy... a double dick move!
Brayden Jones
Heh. Replies say it all, don't even need to add anything.
Connor Long
Slow, not that much content, synchronizing is a pain in the arse, people won't share nodes.
Michael Morris
Thanks user Sad, but thanks
Jack Powell
>designed for use with Microsoft Windows. >closed source >Perfect Dark uses RSA (1024-bit) and AES (128-bit) to encrypt data transmitted between peers. Are you serious?
Camden Torres
Open source only guarantees all security holes will be discovered and exploited instantly.
Kayden Ward
Doing it wrong.
Asher Howard
>Not using gnunet All you nyaa weebs deserved to be eternally BTFOd
Leo Baker
Needs a million strong users before it even becomes feasible as a place to hide.
Joseph Williams
Yea that is exactly my definition of shitty torrent program fucking kill me
Justin Lewis
>designed for use with Microsoft Windows. Great. That means we can hit the ground running, since most people use Windows. >closed source You'll just have to buy a Windows seedbox then. :^) >Perfect Dark uses RSA (1024-bit) and AES (128-bit) to encrypt data transmitted between peers. That's good enough to keep the entertainment industry away. They'll continue to go for the low hanging fruit.
Ryder Perez
>fucking kill me no thanks your despair will do the job
Eli Watson
You'd rather they stay hidden and traded on Hansa or even the normie infested exploitdb like all the proprietary software exploits I find there that are still working 18 months after exposure? Look how fast OpenSSL was patched up. Tell me that about Adobe FlashPlayer
Zachary Reyes
where should get all my JAV goodness when sukebei is down
Brayden Scott
>adobe anything
Dylan Gomez
The source code can be audited eventually and the flaws fixed. It's impossible to do that with something closed-source.
Gavin Reyes
thanks Europe
Isaac Campbell
In case user doesn't deliver, can't you guys write a crawler for google cache?
Kevin Harris
>animeNEETs cucked yet again
Oliver Hughes
its gone forever now user
nyaa hit the SHIT fan rather than sharing the db with the others
guy was probably too scared of getting caught moving shit away from EU
Thomas Wood
I'll provide the logo.
Adrian Reyes
>That's good enough to keep the entertainment industry away. It might have been enough 11 years ago but nowadays it really isn't. There is no excuse to still be using those algorithms with those key lengths.
Gabriel Reyes
What happened to ? That shit wipes quick if I remember, someone'd have to be quick. Archive.org has a shitload of nyaa, but only about 100k of sukebi
Xavier Morris
he's sleeping check the archive
Nolan Reyes
user said it's uploading and went to sleep. I think we can expect an update in 6 hours.
Lucas Sanders
but there must be some alternatives
Hudson Cox
user is asleep as files upload. See
Andrew Ward
(gnunet)
Carter Collins
Check pornolab.
Nolan Brooks
>Stichting Brein KANKER
Austin Russell
Provide a poster instructing people how to add the new trackers.
Blake Morales
If he fucking delivers I'm pointing $10k worth of bitcoin miners at that address for a week.
Ryan Gray
The worst is you can't fully scrape Nyaa (you couldn't browse past page 1000 or so). So probably all releases before 2010 are lost.
Ayden Moore
>implying you have that many buttcoins to spare
Joseph Murphy
teach me how to use gnunet on terminal only
Alexander Stewart
And it's one thing to have an archive, another thing is to have a popular enough sharing platform where anons with their obscure, obscure stuff can upload and be sure at least ten people would dl it.
Anthony Murphy
He probabbly just wanted to exit this train, that EU nonsense he is telling is bullshit. He could just move the servers or give away the website with domains to somebody else. As i know only UK now have 10yers in jail for copyright material but UK is not in EU anymore, moreover there are shitloads of trackers hosted in EU and nothing gonna happen. EU is not a country. Someone from germany can't "arrest" someone from Poland or Norway. Only thing they can do is ask as US asks when they want to arrest someone in europe. Their govt can literally say go fuck yourselves and nothing gonna happen.
Blake Perez
For the people who put the torrent links for the Fakku releases, it goes up to 1-1300, so I was wondering how much Fakku has released as of now, can someone tell me or how I can find out?
>He could just move the servers or give away the website with domains to somebody else But he didn't he's being a little shit and not giving anyone the website data.
Read the thread
William Lee
Is it possible to fully scrape all data on nyaatorrents before it went down?
Levi Ramirez
This doesn't give me a number, you don't expect me to count all the releases right?
Daniel Evans
...
Jaxon Scott
What if he was planning to move to .ru domain?
Brandon Green
We'll find out when database user wakes up.
Ian Kelly
This time I'll just be blaming J-Novel Club... I noticed some of there Epub releases got uploaded and then o most like magic the site went poof... Err I mean... yep totally fakku...
Camden Rodriguez
Can't he register the site with fake ID?
Sebastian Hughes
No, except if you scrapped it while its page count was
Easton Watson
>tfw 60 KB/s upload >tfw no private tracker will ever want me
I can't even run H@H
Lucas Ross
from april 2nd do you know how many page counts there was? Wondering how bad it would be if there was something like 5000 page counts and you could only scrape 1000...
Juan Howard
>tfw 25KB/s upload
Leo Perez
We moeten die homo's echt platbranden.
Angel Ortiz
>H@H Can't you just spoof your poor upload?
Evan Williams
Rent a cheap server and stop whining.
Carter Morales
Wouldn't be so sure that they don't want you.
Do you want them, though? Even if you uploaded a lot more than you downloaded (that speed can still amass a considerable amount of data in 24/7 seeding), private trackers are not necessarily friendlier / better places in general.
Daniel Morales
I have no idea.
Brody White
>Running H@H Don't do it unless you want to be arrested for CP. But if you really want to do it, just get a cheap vps with decent storage
Joseph Roberts
It's over lads why would anyone keep fighting
Andrew Lee
>It's over lads why would anyone keep fighting
FUCK OFF DAIZ
Leo Adams
let it die, no replacement
I'm already loving all the pleb tears, tasting em while downloading shitloads of disgusting jap shit from oppaitime, bakabt and animebytes
Jackson James
> cheap vps with decent storage In other words, a seedbox. Many seedboxes don't give a root access, I don't know how are you going to install Java for H@H.
Josiah Morgan
>curia.europa.eu/jcms/upload/docs/application/pdf/2017-04/cp170040en.pdf Can someone explain how this is relevant? It seems to focus on the fact that he is selling a device that comes pre-installed with software that access illegal streaming sites out of the box and advertising it with having these capabilities, essentially selling access to pirated material?
Oliver Brooks
Wait where did all the manga go on Fakku?! Why is there only 47 pages on it?
Carter Foster
41 pages*
Benjamin Scott
It isn't. Daiz went full pantsu on the head retarded for no fucking reason; he's either illiterate, or something else happened and he's using this ruling as smokescreen.
James Martinez
>He pays jacob
Jordan Rogers
>and yes, it was due to the EU ruling >But the EU ruling doesn't concern Nyaa, does it? >It was based in Swedistan, so yeah, it does. That ruling was from a Dutch court, not an EU court.
Michael Bell
> Don't do it unless you want to be arrested for CP. You should be glad you're not getting arrrested for copyright infringement.
That shit is apparently often punished far worse than high seas piracy where you take hostages and want ransom.
Also, H@H has no CP unless you're in retard land that equals drawn art to actual children. Which AFAIK the USA was not... or has that changed?
Parker Stewart
I didn't I just looked and saw how little fakku has compared to the last time I went on it when it was free
Adrian Nguyen
The idea seems to be that it sets a "precedent" for copyright laws applying to a srvice that enables accessing copyrighted material.
This is, of course, complete nonsense from a legal perspective because a.) EU law isn't like US law, "precedent" is irrelevant from a legal perspective and b.) the issue with that one was that he made commercial use of that service. It doesn't really apply to nyaa's case at all, but the owner of nyaa just got cold feet and pulled the plug in advance.
Dominic Cox
State-dependent. Has to qualify as obscenity under local law.
