How easy is it to make your own keyboard?
got really inspired by this video
youtube.com
Depends on what you want. Something like a GH60 is so easy that some models don't even need to be soldered.
reposting because I'm a homosexual faggot shitface cunt with nothing original to post
Same.
KEYBOARD THREAD.
>not taking advantage of the exception for antique blackpowder guns to get a fun old muzzleloader without a licence
>not having the money to get a licence and gun even if you're in a state without the antique exception

Why hasn't anyone made a penis artisan yet
I'd much rather be poking the head of an erect dick than fondling a spooky skull

swap capslock and control, your pinky will thank you. capslock today is where control was when most hotkeys were developed, control is supposed to operate like another shift

also i'm experimenting with lshift+rshift+space as backspace. seems more comfy when i'm on the home row
if i had a split spacebar the left half would be backspace and the right half would be forward space. i'm hoping someone will make a 75% board either with a split spacebar as default or as a DIY kit with different options for the bottom row including an option to have dual 2.25u keys in place of a 5.5u spacebar.
>dual 2.25u keys in place of a 5.5u spacebar
nvm that doesn't add up lol
dual 2.75u i mean
Poker 3 RBG, blues.
>This seller is currently away until 05/09/17
Is this the 9th of May, or the 5th of September?
in burger time it is the 9th of may
beautiful
i want one
Is this good to try Zeal scam switches?
kbdfans.myshopify.com
sure why not
o-rings are kinda useless but whatever
>he doesn't know
>black glossy texture
WHEN WILL THEY SELL THE PC VERSION IN A WHITE SHELL?
Looks beautiful nonetheless. The keycaps remind me of this one user's numpad that he decked out in green/red for Christmas one year.
>not just plasti dipping the shell
Shit, I gotta try this.
Novatouch Tkl
my phone camera is extremely shit
after trying all kinds of keyboards and switches, this is by far the best to tyoe on. it hasunique swotches that are like topre i think.
they are topre
Yeah but you can put regular cherry style keycaps on them
those are just the sliders. you can check by screwing the case open and checking the pcb
Does changing the PCB/controller of something like a FIlco do anything worthwhile?
Programmability
Which keyboard would be adequate to get started with mkb, i'll use it mainly for typing and I don't care about rbg.
I will use it with a laptop mainly so I think a tkl or 60% would be good.
what keyboard is that? Ive always wanted a compact numpad keyboard like that, but never came by any mechanical ones
>No French AZERTY
lightsaver v2
magicforce 68 with gateron switches
or drevo gramr
you can upgrade the keycaps and it'll be bretty gud
Here you go Frenchy, you can whine about your special snowflake layout here
fakebook.com/groups/291762867913654/
I got a set of zeal's here, The heaver versions have zero tactile bump. 65g Zeal has OK bump, 62g is to light for me to type effective on. Still like a lubed Cherry MX Grey as my top switch
I don't have a facebook account.
why do you care about the legends nigga just get qwerty
surely you know where your keys are
>ABS
MagicForce 68 with Blues
>ABS
>hideous
>overpriced
>ships in almost october
The nights version doesn't look bad. It's like Miami for functioning adults who don't crossdress for strangers on the internet.
tbqh if you want a tactile mech switch (not topre) then alps/bs > cherry mx
only downside is you can't rice out your keyboard as easily
Some guy did make an alps to mx adapter you can easily 3d-print, it makes the caps pretty high but it's still an option
Two questions:
What do you guys think about Anne Pro?
How bad are Outemu blue switches?
Get the anne pro with gaterons instead
then you don't need azerty
azerty is for french normies
To be honest, you shouldn't try zeal scams on principle alone.
Need some help mates, want to get a peripherical update now that my Rig is finished
>Low, as cheap as possible

wut
I'm going to assume you meant a black keyboard. Can you buy from american amazon, cause you can get the tomoko for like 30 bucks US?
>store/product/weeb
>/weeb
Good shit user, it's in Amazon.mx, pretty cheap, but do you think blue switches gonna impact gaming in any ways? I wanted Red switches because low actuation force and easy on fingers, and also because i only play Cs/LoL
Shit taste, dont post here again
actuation force is slightly higher, 55 vs 45. As far as gaming goes it doesn't really matter. Its all a big marketing meme. In Asia blues are advertised as the gaymer switch, so it really depends on what your preferences are. If you do want reds check out the magicforce keyboards. I'd get the ones with gaterons instead of the outemu or cherry versions
Yeah that's what i tought, thanks for the advice user

Ideal layout, wish buckling spring or topre boards had something similar.
Really odd choice in key cap colours
Come save me when the zombies take over
Is that a novatouch TKL? Beautiful picture nonetheless.
Add soft landing pads or hypersphere rings, it makes the keyboard 10x better. They are definitely topre switches btw, I own one
where's ur model m at bro
it would be best to try them out at a store or with a switch tester. whichever switch you get i suggest you get o-rings (you can get them for like $1 from china) to reduce the travel distance which helps you double tap especially
more like kike skull
I can't live without it.
Over there with the other boards that I don't use
Why don't you use it? Not fond of the switches or is it the layout?
It's a very nice keyboard, but I don't have much use for a fullsize at home and I already have one for work, not to mention it's far too loud to be used in an office with other people. If my dream of self-employment ever comes into being I'd probably use it as my work keyboard, but until then it'll just be an essential part of my collection.
So whose dick do I have to suck to buy good doubleshot PBT French AZERTY keycaps?
The collective dick of chyna would be a good place to start, but you can practice with mine.

KBP V60 Matias Clicky / Minivan Mod-L
To be honest I'm over gaudy colourways like this. Give me something like GMK 9009 any day
I love this fucking thing. Almost forgot to post it this thread.
You just want some (You)s, so I'll give you one. I'm currently typing on a SSK. My desk space is already cramped as it is so a full size model M won't fit, but an SSK can. I never really used my number pad so I don't miss it. Buckling springs are a great switch type and much better then that cherry shit. My old MX blues don't feel as satisfying to type on. I'm really loving this keyboard, I just wish the case was a bit thinner.
>doubleshot PBT
There are only three companies that do that.
Ducky, Vortex, and Tai-hao. Good luck you cheese eating surrender monkey
What board is this and does it come with gaterons
Gonna stick with this till 96key layouts are more common. Granted this has browns but I can live with browns. My preference is for clears. Might try and change the port to mini USB just so I can swap to my magicforce with greens for when I got a lot of typing to do.
>My old MX blues don't feel as satisfying to type on.
All """tactile""" MX switches are absolutely shit in comparison to something like BS or Alpse
People only buy them because they either don't know any better or want to rice out their board
>Use Dell standard keyboard for >10 years
>Finally switch to a Code tenkeyless brown from Massdrop
>Been using it for like 6 months now, still doing typos fucking my typing up
When will I get used to this fucking thing I miss my old kb. though my new one is beautiful to look at
>MX Brown
