First for new Nokias

Anyone with the Lenovo P2 able to confirm audio issued are fixed with the nougat update?

Saw some comments in the previous thread about it. I'd like to know before buying it this weekend.

Hey

Could anyone offer some input?
I have a 20gb data plan and for the past 3 months i haven't had any problems.

Today I received a message that I've used all my fast MBs which is impossible.

I checked my phone's registered data usage and it differs from the app usage.

The phone shows nearly 20gb of usage which is unreal but the app usage itself (5GB) is much more realistic.
Any ideas? Maybe use an app to track the usage?

Just get a Sharp A1

Stop watching porn.

I just got my LG G6 today. I bought the dual sim 64gb version with the quad DAC from Korea.

It's a really nice looking device but I've noticed it has these stupid symbols underneath the G6 logo. I haven't seen this on any other examples of the phone (I've watched and read 30+ different reviews).

Did I get a display model or something? These logos are really killing the aesthetics of the phone, it's got me bummed out.

>March 1 security patch level

Wow, thanks Lenovo...

Im trying to flash my Moto G but when i do it says waiting for device.

I have the Moto G drivers installed, could this be because the battery is in 0%?

hyuna is cute :3

Gonna get a LeEco Le Max 2 X829 once pajeets get the camera working. They're almost there.

Can a Phone charge while its on bootloop?

Fuck, I'm really tempted to get the g6 but the history of bootlooping is too much to ignore

Would just wait it out for the one plus 5 but need the new phone before July

when is that new o3t phone coming out? im tired of waiting

Is $600 a good price for a used Pixel XL?

No, get brand new OP3T instead or wait for OP5 this summer

Do modern smartphones still need glass protection or is it placebo?

what's the best torrent client for to use for smartphones? utorrent is fucking riddled with ads

Anything 5.5" and above needs a glass screen protector

Why? What does size have to do with it?
I thought screen protectors were just for scratches.

Whats teh best app to rip youtube vids?

Flud
They help with drops, 5.5" is still a decent amount of screen real estate and I've fucked my screens up so bad by them dropping accidentally that since I've put them on I won't have one without
FVD Browser

Fucking chinks.

Turns out the cable i was using cant be used for data, only to charge phones.

Reminder you can get a new iPhone SE 32gb for $160, so even poorfags can get gud

₹0.02 have been credited to your account.

What is the biggest, most ram, best processor phone that I can get in the next 3 months? I don't really care about the camera, and battery life isn't a huge deal either. It seems that oneplus is in the lead in all of these.

I'm not getting the S8 because the screen is stupid in every way. Thanks for any help.

thinking about switching from my iphone 6s to the s8. worth?

Yes.

>I'm not getting the S8
S8.

m.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_502843.html?wid=21
right now
it has every single band in the world
but wait for op5 or htc u11 or Samsung note 8

>tfw I want an actual compact smartphone and then only one on the market is the iPhone SE

I'm so close to giving my money to Apple

I just flashed my phone but i still get the no command bootloop.
What do?

Best android phone in the $400 range? Need battery life first and foremost.

how much does Bixby fuck with the s8
just need a good phone now but that retarded Bixby button is turning me off of it so much

>country

under $220, I'm also probably going to be buying refurbished or something on ebay, that's worked in the past. I'm considering the LG G5 and the Lenovo Zuk Z2

I asked a couple day ago and got no reply so I'll try again: What's the best current smartphone that's no wider than a Nex5 (2.72")? Don't care about height or thickness. I replaced my Nex5 with a Moto X, but it's just too wide to comfortably use one handed. It seems that's basically par for the course for smartphones nowadays.

Xperia X

Xperia X Performance is now 399.99, not 299.99

What the lowest I can expect the Moto Z Play to drop to when the 2 comes out before they discontinue it?

I have an iPhone SE and it fucking sucks. Typing requires you use your pinkie and this things gets unbearably hot. The shit battery life to top it all off made me sell it on ebay and get an S7 active.

For those with the S8, how good is the battery life?

Is it really that bad? I'm coming from a Moto Nexus 6 that got a bad screen (won't turn on). It kept crashing, slowing down, and didn't have the best battery life before it died

I thought the SEs were pretty good (best battery life, smallest form factor, cheapest with decent specs).

I just want a phone that werks.

I just got one today too, but there's no symbols on my phone.
Maybe it's a carrier thing? My HTC M8 had them

Whats the best protective case for the S8?

mine also doesn't have any of those symbols

pixel XL is best phone sorry poorfags

> $150 or less
> preferably not chink
> decent battery life

What are my options Sup Forums

I think the high specs of phones these days is just for posturing and show off. My 4 year old Moto G works perfectly fine for daily use of voice calls, texts, browsing, mails, occasional video calls etc. I don't understand the reason behind buying a flagship worth $800-900 and changing it in two years when a new model comes out. If my cheap phone can last for 4 years, surely flagships can do it too.

>Do it wont boot

Why the fuck is this happening.
How do you even fix this.

Can anyone recommend phones to look out for?

XA Ultra, G5 Plus, or Honor 8? Any other recommendations around the price ranges of these phones would also be appreciated. Carrier is ATT.

You can get reasonable deals on the Pixel in Carphone Warehouse I believe

Depending on budget

Best cheap unlocked Android phone with a microSD card slot that's actually in stock for under a hundred bucks?

It can be unrootable, but rootable is preferred.

I should have said, not looking to get a flag ship tier phone.

I'm looking for a low to mid tier and reasonably priced phone. That said I was more interested today at just getting hands on with a phone so wanted to know of any recommendations to look at.

I'm thinking Moto G5 Plus, Lenovo P2 as these seem to be recommended a lot on here. Would like to get hands on with the OP3T but not sure they are available to try in shops?

>Would like to get hands on with the OP3T but not sure they are available to try in shops?

O2 might have it, they have them on their website, don't think others will have it

It's not tied to any sort of network though.
Lucky.

Couldn't find it in O2 but had a look at the G5 and G5 Plus which were shit IMHO.

Had a look at the Lenovo P2 which was pretty good. Thinking of going for this since the bigger battery is a huge selling point for me. But certainly not buying it from the shop, sales people did my head in!

Does anyone have any other low to mid tier range phones they would recommend?

I'm in the same boat as you, but I've decided I'm going to spring a bit extra and buy the OP3T. I don't know if you saw in the last couple threads but the P2 has a bug where audio doesn't sync with video on certain streaming sites like YouTube. There are mixed reports of it being fixed or slightly lessened after the Nougat update but take that with a pinch of salt.

My mother needs a new smartphone, she had a Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo and wants something with a similiar display size. 200€ max and no chinkshit. Any recommendations?

Anyone have experience with the axon 7 here?

iPhone 5S

Will the Note 8 really be 4K and 6.4" with the curved edges?

I don't want to get the S8+ if the note 8 will be better (for what I am looking for).

can't choose

lg g6 for a less-shit OS, better (subjectively) camera, better buttons and $200 less

or

s8 for a e s t h e t i c s

I'm going to China for work, and I've been looking at some Xiaomi phones and some are only available within China or a lot cheaper. I like they large battery they come with. Which models are recommended below 600$?

Should I buy an XZ premium or wait for the note 8?

>less-shit OS

It is actually a good OS though, and if you're from europe, you can throw roms on it, for even better performance.

>better buttons

There's an app where you can remap the bixby button.

Also, if you go with LG, they are known for boot loops, hope you're prepared for shit quality control like that.

>Country
Australia, carrier does not matter.

>Features
Faster than my shitty dying iphone 4s. Good battery life. User serviceable, I have four thinkpads for a reason.
I mostly just use my phone for playing music and podcasts, playing duolingo, quickly googling things and messaging people. The 4s struggles with some of these, especially if someone tries to message me and I need to swap apps.

I am also big on memes so if there are any meme phones or phones that respect my freedom that fit my specs I would be happy with that.

>size
I prefer smaller phones that fit neatly into pockets. But bigger screens are nice too. So I dunno, you guys probably have a better idea of what would be more annoying to deal with.

>budget
$200 ideally, max $300.
I would prefer not to get a chink phone unless it is substantially cheaper for the same or better specs ($50+).

i'm either retarded or this phone is fucked up.
1. i wipe data, system, cache, dalvik
2. i flash lineageos, then gapps, then supersu
3. i clean dalvik and do a reboot
and the fucker doesn't boot. i literally tried like 40 times. what am i doing wrong ffs

Mi Mix, Mi Note 2 or Mi6

Redmi 4 Prime

Any recommended roms for my galaxy s6? Haven't customized a phone in years so kinda not up to date when it comes to roms and shit.

Is BlackBerry the only option to have WhatsApp on a device with a physical keyboard?

S8 or G6?

this is my current problem too. Currently got an S6 and not sure where to go from it

FUCK YOU ALL i literally did everything right and now my phone is bricked.

im fucking going iphone next time so i dont have to deal with my system going slow every fucking 2 weeks.

Do i get a Samsung S8+ or the Huawei p10+ for my next phone?
Currently using the Note4.

this is why i never fuck with my phone

For those of you interested in the KeyOne, aren't you worried about the nonstandard screen aspect ratio?

A lot of apps are probably not going to play well with the device because of it.

Blackberry Priv is on sale for $299 on the BB site.

Good deal ?

Hello /spg/, 2013 here. Is CyanogenMod dead? What are the go-to ROMs today?

I've installed custom ROMs on 10+ phones, even before Android existed (had cfw on my Sony Ericsson W810 and Nokia 5530XM after that) and I've never managed to permanently brick a phone. It helps if you're not a retard and are able to follow step-by-step guides, and do a google search if you run into any problems.

Cyanogenmod mod isn't dead, they just changed the name. It's LineageOS now.

Hey, I'm thinking of either buying the Moto G4 or the Redmi Note 4. Which should I get? Redpill me.

I've had my 1st Gen Moto g for quite a while now and loved it. Does the G4 live up to it's fame? Before that I had an HTC Evo 3d that I liked.

I've got a smashed to shit Samsung s4. Sd card has stopped being read and Bluetooth doesn't work

Should I pay £70 to get a replacement on my insurance or £140 for a remi note 4 or some other chink phone

i literally did what a guide told me. after flashing it never booted but my recovery worked so i decided to restore my backup i made earlier with twrp. after that it just died and doesn't respond to anything

i'm usually THE tech person in my family and i have no idea why that shit went wrong. now i'm reading how to unbrick (pc sees phone as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008) and i'm so fucking overwhelmed by all "guides" written by pajeets in broken english that i'm probably just going to buy a new phone.

Same but got a G5.

Depends on what the replacement is

Get a new phone.

An S4

Thanks my man. Will look into that

>It is the successor to the highly popular custom ROM CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project

lol. Who could have seen that coming?

Moto g4 play

Are there any good phones that don't force Microsoft's, Google's or Apple's dick inside me?

Is there even new S4's available anymore for them to replace it with? Anyway not worth paying £70 for S4, get a Redmi Note 4 Global for £117
s.aliexpress.com/fQnEvuAN

Nope
Time to ride that dick

Just get an Android and flash a ROM without Google apps

No it would be reconditioned. Insurance company takes in broken phones, reconditions them and then gives them to other people.

They'd swap my phone for a reconditioned one and then my phone would most likely be repaired and given to someone else.

I think I'll order that Redmi of alixpress then. I hope Customs doesn't jew me.

nice iPhone you got there user

stay on 4.4.4

functionality > aesthetics

What are you, a fucking woman?

>he fell for the rooting/custom roms meme

kek
