Good combo?

No.

Why not?

>ROG STRIX Z270H
That's why.

If your workflow really requires i7-7700K and other CPU won't be better for you.

Then both are bad for you.

What are you talking about you illiterate retard?

>republick uv gaymers!!!XDDDD

Don't forget your medieval torture device .. I mean, delid kit.

Just got it with a 7700k. Ez overclock. 99th percentile passmark. Not bad

Yes. You're going to get loads of angry responses from indian shitskins because the CPU you're about to buy is a lot better than the best cpu their indian corpooration has to offer

where can i buy normal boards? i dont want those stupid looking gaming boards with too big heatsinks.

just get msi z270 m3 it has more power phases for same price

overpriced asus z270h are worthless

nice pre-patched benchmark

Z270I at the minimum and Apex if you want the lowest timings.

5.2ghz with 4133 17-18-18-38 1T

Just get the i5 unlocked cheaper can will probably perform better for what you're using your PC for

Good combo? Depends on your needs. Purely for gaming the 7700K is going to give you the best performance out of any processor at this time. Probably for quite some time into the forseeable future too, until games start demanding more than four physical cores.

As for the motherboard you could probably opt for some cheaper Z270 board.

If you have productivity in mind, such as video editing or 3D modeling you may want to consider Ryzen 7 or even the six-core Ryzen 5 CPUs.

This

It's a great combo desu senpai because it really pisses off AMD poor fags

Overclocking is a meme, just buy a cheaper mobo + locked 7700 and spent the rest on a GTX 1080

You post the same laughable benchmarks in every thread and they're still just as stupid as they were the first time you posted them.

>7700k
>temperature spikes
>delid

Why is 7700k still even an option to people?

6700k or 7700k?

>that benchmark doesn't count, reeeeeeeeeeee!

>until games start demanding more than four physical cores.
and 8 threads

The question is if that will happen in the foreseeable future though.

It would hardly make sense when 99% of people are on quadcores or less top suddenly start optimizing for 6 and 8 cores

That 'benchmark' was a leak from before ryzen was actually released user
There already were many improvements since then

If that's true then lets see the updated benchmark.

It should be easy to find

Get the Z270E or F. I have the Z270F for my 7700k.

>I can tell a near 180FPS increase when already at 308FPS on a monitor that has a 240Hz refresh rate

It doesn't matter if its perceivable, it shows the difference in strength in these types of applications in both benchmarks.

In a more gpu intensive game that might be the difference between 30 or 50 fps

both cpu's

inb4 "muh overclocking"
Dont need to overclock i already have 4.2ghz whilst amdrones have barely 3

Then why not test a more GPU intensive scenario to show differences that matter?

>i7 7700k

I hope you get firefighters in package

I think you mean that you can't overclock without worrying about temp spikes or delidding your 4 core cpu...

why don't you ask your pc building question in the thread about pc building newfag?

hello shills

>benchmarks are shills

AMD fags are so delusional

Why would any one buy an i7 after the massive security hole and overheating issues that came to light this month?

>overheating issues that came to light this month

This has been a problem since release.

Find it yourself faggot
I couldn't give less of a shit of your stupid shilling opinion
Go make your poor spending choices
