Non-european server

Hahaha, Ping of 120.
That's just pathetic

See
Lets see you test to a server 2,500+ KM away.

>2,500+ KM away.
Actually doing the math, the server is closer to 6,500km away. 120ms is actually amazing.

Pretty good for an island.

Pay for 100/40

I pay $65 bucks for this shit, and they're the only company around, so its deal with them and their prices, go back to satellite, or no internet.
I'd like to not go back to satellite because ping is always 300ms+

lets see some real world speeds instead

paying $100 Moose money for this and premium cable included.

...

Can't you get 4G?

That's what I did because my office can only get shitty ADSL.
I easily get >30Mbps both up and down for 35 euro's per month.

Orange
30€ a month
France, Riviera.

Literally called Comcast today to threaten to cancel my internet.
Got upgraded to higher speed and am now paying $50 per month.
Washington DC.

If you have FiOS they are offering $70/month for 1gbps in Washington DC.

Source:
I have it.

Don't have FiOS

Sucks, comcast offered me $125/month for 2gbps because of the FiOS deal. But they still want to charge me $500 installation and $500 activation.

So $1000 install costs, and since I only have 1gbps NIC's and routers, I'd be spending easily another $500-1000 on 10GbE NICs and switches.

$1500-2000 for 2gbps instead of 1gbps.

And $125/month instead of $70/month.

Comcast needs to get with the times.

Telstra
100/40

>tfw no 10gbit server to test against

Damn, that's pretty good for AUS.

Especially that upload.

Honestly, this is one of the other reasons I'm not getting Comcast's 2gbps service mentioned here Not only would i need to upgrade to all 10GbE switches and NICs, but almost NOTHING I would connect to would even use 1gbps, let alone 2gbps.

300/150
around $7

I could go little faster with Orange's fibre for the same price.
Yes, I seed (sometimes).

This is apparently what happens to your internet when you own the entire city.

FTTH? Cable?
