Great, no issues so far, though I've had it for a year. A cool feature is that it automatically adjusts the time when daylight savings begin and also changes the date depending on the month, so you never have to adjust it. Since it's also solar powered making it a really low maintenance watch.

It also has some really novelty functions, for example if you have it paired to your phone and the phone has bluetooth on you can make it ring, making finding your phone easy if you happen to have left bluetooth on, which is never.

A lot of the times the watches look better irl than in the pics, but this might not be the case. A light polish might work on the case though, if it doesn't have some fancy Seiko finish.
You'll probably be in trouble with the crystal though, a NOS crystal might be expensive or extinct.

There are rectangular generic replacements available, the only problem being there are three parameters now instead of two (width+thickness for round vs. width+height+thickness), but what we do when there's a special shape is send it off to a guy who normally works on optical lenses. We literally use lenses originally for glasses for crystals like domed rectangular.

You can get some decent japanese watches for $100, don't go chink. Seiko 5 is a range of mechanical watches that has many different styles, all of them are automatic, and have a display caseback which is neat.

Well, an in-house Pleagos is a great watch and I'd certainly take one over an MM300, but I'm not sure that classy is how I would describe it.
