ok now might be the time to stop going up lolllll :)))
Ok now might be the time to stop going up lolllll :)))
i've been on the phone with expedia for the last 2 hours trying to get a refund for my france trip. i hope uefa will give me a refund for my tickets too.
i wasnt afraid of the ISIS threat. but the the unions striking got my worried, and now this flood is the last thing i want to deal with
what's that ball in the eiffel tower?
Foooootballlllllllllllllllll
probably for the euro
You're just nbot used in France's organised chaos. Mark my words, in one week it will all be perfectly normal and sunny.
what about the fucking unions. i have a flight scheduled from paris to nice on june 14th.
>go to france
>muslims shoot people
>unions are striking
>rivers are flooding
>never to france again
The stikes are already less violents, and will probably stop for the Euro.
Enjoy your bombings during Euro
go to Paris*
if i am stranded in paris, can i sleep on your couch?
How's the Zouave doing, mon ami?
Sorry i'm not insane, i'm not living in that mad city.
i will also be in Nice, and lens
Nice is full of old people and arabs, and Lens...who even cares about Lense, it's basically a village.
Most of the big and nice French cities refused to Host Euro games.
Nice would be nice if it's sunny tho
Sodom and Gomorrah huh
honestly lens is the biggest dissapointment, i decided to only make it a day trip. the match im going to starts at 21:00 and the last train to paris from lens is at 23:50. i hope to make it to paris so i can fly home the next day. i think i fucked up this booking
If Paris is Sodom, what's Gomorrah?
Don't worry too much, it will be a great trip anyway, and Lens is kind of qt in its own way. But yeah, half of the cities hosting games are jokes, and the UEFA is to blame for it. The requirement to host a gam were so ridiculous and expensive that several important cities just said no, because they knew they'll be flooded with tourists anyway, Euro or not, and because honestly most French people don't give a fuck about the Euro, so spending millions to host a game with no gain wouldn't have been very popular.
hopefully they won't though
Marseille ?
>The requirement to host a gam were so ridiculous and expensive that several important cities just said no
Is that true?
If it is, nice then, fuck football and their supporters.
brussels
you have been comforting user, i hope to meet French people like you if i go.
> ?
Honestly don't worry too much. My opinion is that things will be calm by then, but even if it's not, chaos has always been part of France way of life, and even if there are strikes and riots during the Euro, everything will just be fine.
You'll even get a perfect taste of the French spirit, when you'll see someone just casually going back from shopping, walking in the middle of tear gaz while a riot is going on, like nothing is happening. Those things are always exagerated in foreign medias and can be impressive for a foreigner, but the truth is even with all that chaos, the country is still perfectly functional.
Yes it's true, that's why important or touristic cities like Strasbourg, Rennes or Nantes have refused to host any games, and this is why some games will take place in small cities like Lens or Saint-Etienne.
which games will you see?
Helsinki
Meanwhile in Britain.
Just kidding though really, 90% of this country gets fucked whenever floods happen. If London ever flooded shit would be fucked.
Lmao this optimism
He can still breath, nothing to worry about. And he's having his hour of glory again with millions of people gathering on the Pont de l'Alma to take pictures of him today.
>the country is still perfectly functional.
t. Yeltsin
Any good pictures of frogland drowning?
just experience really. The Oil strikes have already stopped, the stikes in the Nuclear power plants have stopped, and the transportation isn't even big and will very probably be over for the Euro. Shil will probably happen, but not before a few month, this was just the beginning, and the governments in France are used to it, there will be no problem for the Euro. There was also a political crisis and massive strikes before the 98 World cup
...
Love that picture, the water looks like orange juice
one more
...
ahahaha i want to break that window ahahhaha make her suffer
Wew.
If it makes you feel better we suffered floodageddon earlier this year too.
How many lives has Paris Syndrome claimed so far this year?
>The Oil strikes have already stopped, the stikes in the Nuclear power plants have stopped,
This is incorrect
>Not pictured: Useless frenchies sat at wine bars waist deep in water complaining that it's far to close to bathing for their liking.
Aproximately 22, just like my dubs
It's a bit impressive but honestly no one really cares that much, except the people who are really directly threaten by it, and that's not so many of the Parisians. They are a jaded type of people anyway, and it's pretty much over. The Seine has reachr 6.5m higher than it's usual level and is expected to go down inthe next days. Plus some people seems to somehow enjoy the flooding

youtube.com
No it's not, trust me i live there.
That's quite impressive
>search for french webcams
>no flood anywhere
Why do I still fall for Sup Forums memes?
It was.
youtube.com
The thing wasn't just the water level, it was the force of it.
>ignore news to the contrary user
>trust me, I'm French!
Live webcams are usually in high spot, no surprise you can't see the flooding, it's not like if Paris was completely underwater.
this is exactly why im attempting to learn french. you guys strike all the time, HATE working, have a severe distaste for the "modern american dream", all while being one of the nicer countries in the EU.
my goddamn countrymen couldn't protest their way out of a wet paper bag. I wish i could inject some of that "french spirit" into the US. we really need some outspoken opinions. everyone here acts exactly like they are supposed to.
Ha
Hahahahahahahaha
Holy fuck America you get me every time
Please never stop posting
i would never stop even if i could. the void in my life would be overwhelming.
> America
How funny, i've read several artices about what happened in France in The Guardian or the Daily Mail, and there was a lot of British comments saying exactly the same thing. Not everyone seems to enjoy your zero hour contract in britain.
That one is better desu. Roland Garros seems to be a great source of inspiration for rioters.
Yeah sure, you probably did see that in the graun as it's all faggy jobless shits like yourselves.
Don't worry i'm working. Well only 35hours a week with 5 weeks of paid vacations, but i'm still getting 2200 euros a month, so i don't complain.
6 people died due to flood in germany also 10 is fighters planed attack on düsseldorf. 5 got arrested
why the fuck would you want to work more? the times in my life where i was living as a "jobless shit" were some of the best.
Is this some sort of abstract German joke?
>10 is fighters planed attack on düsseldorf. 5 got arrested
Thanks to a French tip, no need to thank us.
I think a few people died because of the flooding here too, but the most sensational things has been a bunch of kid stroke by a lighting in a the Butte-Chaumont in Paris.
statue of liberty was a gift from france, enjoy it untill your country becomes a huge fema gulag.
This.
i dont get what is so funny on my post.
Just the way it was typed. Made it seem like it was a joke about ISIS people getting drowned in a flood.
i did it for 1 year, after 8 months i got bored and went to work again, now i have 2 jobs.
american dream babe!
5 people died in my home town due to flooding last year, you guys have it good if only 6 people died
most people die her due to alcohol, tobacco and car accidents.
obviously
looks like tamriel
fuking inbred
6 people die by flood in bavaria
10 is fighters try to kill some people in dösseldorf
i just wanted to cheer up my franco-friend.
Calm down Franz, it's not my fault your humour is so weird and autistic that we can't tell when you're joking.
maybe it is possible over in germany. it sure isn't feasible over here anymore.
and when i was jobless i still made money and lived by playing live music. but it was much more irregular than a real job, so i still think of it as my "unemployed days".
good times. if everything goes as planned by the middle of the summer i'll be doing it again. and this time with a smaller band, so even more moneys.
>mfw they blow up the stadium when it's crowded
This shouldn't expand dong, but it does
I got tickets too all the turkey games. My parents are from turkey
