What do regional hispanic country accents like to each other? Is there one that sounds more redneck or posh than the others? Which is most annoying for you to listen to as a Spanish speaker?

Posh = Peruvian

I don't what wold be considered the best accent in Latinamerica, but the worst one is definitely the Chilean one.

spain spanish: bad dubs tier
mexican: cartoonish tier (I really can't take them seriously)
argentinean (+uruguayan): good tier, except for villeros, they sound absolutly disgusting
peruvian (+bolivian): sounds good, but they have a "lower class" stigma
colombian: narco+prostitutes tier
venezuelan: culebron tier
paraguayan: ?
ecuatorian: ??
brasilean: sounds like a drunk russian trying to speak spanish
cuba: sexy tier
rest of caribean (+centroamerican) spanish: banana tier

>brasilean: sounds like a drunk russian trying to speak spanish
Is it cool, at least? Or do we sound annoying?

I'm not sure if I missed it, but did you rate your country? are you gonna take that?

Brazil: different from region but pretty good.
Spanish america: ARIBA tier, fucking spics sounds like they have a dick deep into they're anus. Romans would be disapoited/10

yeah, bolivian sound like they have low morale

depends on each person, but for me yes, it sounds cool, better than colombian, mexican, and centroamerican (i know there are many, but I dont like any of them)
I'm not gonna talk about chilean accent, I'll just let int/ do the work for me

it sounds stupid and like you have shit in your mouth.

to my ears:

Caribbean spanish = low class stereotypical english accent (oi m8 uwot m8), very fast too
Colombian spanish = Japanese-ish. Girls sound kawaiii ugguuu, men sound like stern businessmen
Mexican = Sounds immensely whiny, as if they were a schoolchild pleading not to be bullied by the bigger kids. Or decapitated.
Argentine = Okay but they pronounce some things strangely
Chilean = Not even speaking a language known to man at this point.
bonus: Brazill = drunk and slurring every other word

Can we agree that nobody understands chilean?

>Colombian spanish = Japanese-ish. Girls sound kawaiii ugguuu, men sound like stern businessmen
wow, yeah
Every time that i speak with a colombian girl i think my self "why she scream like that?"

Cuba has the best accent

Pretty accurate.

mexican accent from mexico city is the worst

I'm not even sure if we speak spanish at this point

What's wrong with Chilean and Chilean people?

CHI
c'mon it sounds like mendocino accent

chilean is to spanish what jamaican is to english.

Chile is patois/creole tier

hey, we are not that bad...

Coastal ecuadorians and amazonian (at least those ive met) dont have a particular accent (except for the rural and lower class people). Andean people, on the other hand, mostly have a way of speaking that kind of sounds politeand also, they kinda cant pronounce right the R's

Peruvian and non full lisp mode spaniard are the best according most spanish speakers probably. Don't have a clear opinion about the rest, it changes a lot depending on region and social class in each country.

Chilenos aweonilos

I have a colombian teacher at my college and shes a qt, but the way she speaks just makes her 1000% cuter. I love how colombian women speak, or at least those who speak with the generic "colombian accent"

Bunch of southern Spain soldiers left in isolation for 500 years and mixing with drunk, useless natives.

You guys sound pretty andalusian sometimes desu, in the other side we sound weird to the rest due to the massive galician diaspora here.

They don't speak spanish

they speak disgusting sounding gibberish

Chilean: Po weón vai a pololiá?
Mexican: Pinche pendeeeho wey.
Españoles: Puesh oshtias tio voshotrosh shois unosh tira flechas.

>CHI
nope, just Floridian, not a spic myself.

vocaroo pls, I've never heard your accent
no offense, para gustos colores
I want this forced meme to be over already

Po weón vai a pololiá?

Chilean accent is actually really nice and clean
But when they start using their slang, may god have mercy on your soul

-most may complain about our accent but we try our best to pornounce every single letter as it should be

Its not a meme. Is the only thing all /lat/ countries can agree on.

The accents in Colombia are really different between each other.

You can find many other variations, but these ones are the most populars:

-Paisa accent: The most known, from Medellín and Antioquia. The one ussually associated with narcos and cheap whores. Pablo Escobar was paisa. Sounds like someone is nagging you.

-Costeño accent: Quite similar to other caribbean accents. Apparently they can't quite pronounce r or s.

-Valluno accent: Quite nice, sounds like you want to party. Typical from Cali and Valle del Cauca.

-Andean accent: From Bogota, The 'neutral' one (sorry, i could be biased here). Similar to the costarican accent.

-Pastuso accent: The one from southern Colombia, similar to the ecuadorian andean accent, as the ecuadorian fella said they "have a way of speaking that kind of sounds polite and also, they kinda cant pronounce right the R's"

In every country there are obviously different accents, but (at least in SA, I have travelled a lot through the region) I have yet to find a country with such wild differences as in Colombia.

I agree. I guess it was caused by their isolation.

I don't care much about accents but portuguese brazilian just makes want to rip off my ears

Venezuelan sounds nice, I haven't heard of any weird slang and they sound "normal".

Una pregunta, cual es el acento genérico?

Un video para propositos identificativos
youtube.com/watch?v=ozcx2-YRGgI

AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

True, except for maracuchos

LMAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

This reminded me of based Crónica.

Poor people's

WTF is this shit?

Gracias, brocuatoriano. Rolo siempre será el mejor.

>Which is most annoying for you to listen to as a Spanish speaker?
There's only one accent that I hate: Mexican. They sound like shit and makes me want to punch them in the face.
"ORALEEE WEYY!"
Uhhhgggg why does that country even exist?

Mexican is the most spoken but shit tier.
Medellin,Colombia is one of the best especially when spoken by a cute girl.
Costa Rican is also nice.
Spanish spoken by blacks is generally shit tier

Here is a Medellin accent.
youtube.com/watch?v=3WyRqrICSgQ

Educated Caribbean Spanish sounds a lot like Canary Islands. Within Spain the accents from Madrid to the north are nice, with the south being shit tier Arab.
Within Spain best accent.
youtube.com/watch?v=tld871ixz1o

This is about the Canary Island accent. These people would be hard to tell from educated Miami Cubans and Puerto Ricans.
youtube.com/watch?v=NIJHF6kj60k

The Spanish in the South West of the US is the worst. Since Miami is filled with white Latinos the accent is much better.

pic: Miami Colombiana

>I have yet to find a country with such wild differences as in Colombia

Literally every country. Here it goes like this:

Gocho accent: From the andean zone close to Colombia, it's just copy & paste from the colombian accent

Maracucho accent: You can hear it in Zulia. They use "vos", "sos" and verbs like spaniards "sabeis, conoceis", absolutely dreadful

Caraqueño accent: The "standard" one, GOAT accent

Guayanes accent: Sounds very weird, I can't even explain it, perhaps a mix between a peruvian and caribbean accent

Oriental accent: Sounds redneck and polite at the same time.

Yeah and every movie or tv show is dubbed by Mexican or Venezuelan voice actors stay mad Facu.

The most bizarre news channel ever

>watching a dubbed movie
yea...no thanks.

God bless Crónica.

No one likes Portuguese. People in the fashion industry who deal with models think it is a shit tier language. Also, you guys sound stupid when you speak English, almost as bad as Mexicans. The women sound like men when speaking English. Go watch Adriana Lima speak English on youtube and all the comments say she sounds like a tranny.

Tu hablas rolo?

When i say wild differences I mean there are too many people speaking those accents (a high percentage of the population). In Colombia there are the amazon, the llanero, the guajiro, the raizal, the caqueteño, the putumayo, the pacific accents (and many others), but who the fuck lives in those places, only like 10% of the people, the other 90% speaks the five ones I mentioned.

In Venezuela, and don't deny it, only the maracucho and the caraqueño are important (as in an important number of the population speaks those). The others, yeah, those exist, but who talks like that? The people from the venezuelan andes who are always a minority? Some poor soul next to the brazilian border? That's what I mean with wild differences.

The only good thing about Costa Rica is you whores. One can find Euro-Ticas to fuck

pic: prepa Diana Herrera from Heredia

Jamaican patois is god tier so that's not a bad thing

la wea fome po xuliao weon conchetumadre

Do people ITT unironically think brazilians speak Spanish?

i always see you posting whores from those countries
get some help, you're sick

buena talla, pero que gracioso, chiste nuevo?
si

CHI

...

For what I've heard, yes.

They sound like hillbillies with a bag of potatos in the mouth. 10/10 incomprehensible.

jaskjakjaskjjsak mira el americANO hace la grasia

They're speaking about the ones that do speak it(even if pretty badly), obviously.

...

c

This

The actor who played the king in The 300 is Brazilian and speaks very good Spanish.

The actor who plays Pablo Escobar in Narcos is also Brazilian and speaks pretty good Spanish (even though Colombians keep bitching about his accent not being legit Paisa).

CHI

I noticed Mexicans really hate Puerto Ricans.

Yeah because Puerto Ricans are legal

Me declaro culpable de eso. Yo también solia pensar lo mismo.
The thing is that his spanish sounds quite awkward and unnatural. Dont get me wrong, hes a great actor, but his spanish isnt very good

Dunno why it cross posted like that. Time to put down the bottle.

Lol no. His lisp is good but 60% of his dialogue is gibberish

What? we actually get along with them the only thing we hate about them is that they created reggaeton.

his spanish is pretty bad
if you're casting a series about fucking pablo escobar you better make sure he can speak paisa well

Here is Rodrigo Santoro in Spanish.

Nah.

Wow, his spanish is really good
(..and he's ve-very handsome too....)
Didnt know he played the persian guy in 300

Colombian-Venezuelan-Ecuatorian accents are the best accents, mostly because we don't have an strong accent so we pronunciate good unlike other countries

Gran Colombia forever :)
