韓国語も日本語もそれほど文法に違いがないから、漢字とカタカナというニュアンスが話の特徴づけにいいんだと。
その人は純粋な韓国人だから下手とか知らない、一応大卒みたいだし。
経験上、韓国人の年上は案外日本語を簡単に評価するけど同年代か若いとなんかより考え方が保守的な気がする。
