IDEs are awful and gay

IDEs are awful and gay

cool story bro 5/7

I certainly have yet to see the use for one for Python. Vim, with pdb for debugging is more than enough.

>uses a glorified text editor
>calls ides awful and gay
Ur gay

>t. brainlet

Hell, some carefully placed calls to print are all I need for debugging. A full-fledged IDE is overkill for Python.

Use a bad IDE get shit results.

Use a good IDE get great results.

Some carefully placed explosives can level a city, who needs bombs, airplanes, soldiers or tanks.

Nice code you've got there OP

>"I don't like IDEs [which are required for anyone who programs for a living]
OP is NEET confirmed

I fucking hate Sublime desu. The popups drove me mad. Switched to Vim never looked back.

you only ever get a popup when you ctrl+s.
just switch your save hotkey and boom, it's like you bought a license

Sublime is gay

-t. Vim and cmake and gcc

wtf is this meme language?

the arrow keys mean something?

sublime is nice on windows desu

>cmake
>not just make

That is a slippery slope, user.

>writing plain old makefiles when I can run cmake and generate any project type including makefiles

Of course. Is this even controversial?

That's funny. I program for a living and despise IDEs.

Geany is great though, I've had zero problems with it, I love it.

I use notepad++ and compile/build on CodeBlocks

literally the simplest and therefor best approach
anything else is rice

For my Survey of Computer Science class (gen ed that had normies and Psychology majors and shit), we actually had to download and use PyCharm. Definitely overkill.

I prefer Geany as well. Sublime and the like have a tendency to distract me with all those features.
