Mouse thread. Post yours, how you like it, etc.

I'm actually posting because I think I just goofed buying a cheap bluetooth mouse, and I want to know if all Bluetooth mice are shit, or it's just this brand Buffalo that I haven't seen in the US.

It doesn't track fine movements worth a damn, so I will be going back to my trusty Microsoft Basic cable mouse. I guess the three strikes of 'cheap, wireless and minor brand' were not good signs lol.

Pic related, shit on right, clunky but trusty on left.

I'm considering to buy a trackball, how they are?
Are they as fast and precise as actual mouse?

The mouse in question is a Buffalo BSMB21S. It's a queit-click mouse, which is why I bought it.

buffalo.jp/product/input/mouse/bsmbb21s/

Yes, I am in Japan, I don't know if they sell these in the US. MSRP is ~$30 but I got it for more like ~$15

Guess I should be wary of discounted cheap mice?

>buying Bluetooth anything in the current year

>buying wired anything in the current year

How can other mice even compete?

Fuck everything wireless, enjoy heavy and empty batteries, delays and losing connectors.
Logitech MX310 was best mouse.

Getting a deathadder chroma in the mail today. Has anyone had any problems with it?

get ready to buy a new mouse within 3 months

I have some Logitech wireless mouse just because I had it lying around and I haven't had a reason to get a wired one yet. It does everything I need it to

Going 2 years strong. See no reason to switch to any other mouse :)

Also I got it for 35 dollars on black friday

...

I have an ancient wired stock Dell mouse. I keep trying to upgrade, but all the new and 'better' ones die on me within a couple months; this shit's been going strong for damn near a decade, now.

Is this unironically a good mouse to get?

that one's garbage

only good vertical mouse is delux m618
and its $20

>only good vertical mouse is delux m618
>and its $20
The scroll wheel is too low, I need it to be higher.

...

so what's a good wireless mouse that doesn't start double clicking after a month

My mouse has two scroll wheels as well, it's useful sometimes for excel or looking at zoomed in pictures

my nigga

Yes

>G300s

Thought it's great for the price but the weight sucks, button placement is awkward and software can be buggy.

I'll most likely gift it to a friend and get G600.

Bought this today after reading so much about it, found out claw grip is not for me, was so fucking uncomfortable, that thing is tiny.

Going to return it and get a naga mmo.

Almost bought it but looks a bit uncomfortable. Going for a Naga/G600.

>cant find g102 anywhere in ph

fuck me

Who Kensington Trackball Expert here?

Deathadder Chroma, sensor feels good and the mouse is comfy for me. Also I can have it set to 400dpi for when I play brood war

Are the Intellimouse 1.1 sellers on ebay legit?
Pls respond

>no forward/back buttons on intellimouse

the 1.1 has 5 buttons
Might buy the silver one from newegg, since I had the white one 15 years ago and I remember it yellowing after a while

name of mouse pls

idk what you mean
i've been using it for months it's comfy
the only "issue" i had with it (the m618) was the rubber on the scroll wheel but a minute amount of glue fixed that

zowie "totes not intellimouse 3.0" mice

Want to get an Intelli 1.1 or 3.0 but can't find one below $30, anyone know where to get it cheaper? Even the chink knockoffs on Ali are $20+.

EBAY
B
A
Y
It's $21 for the 1.1 but I'm on the fence on their authenticity. Probably legit since newegg sells them at a few dollars more

If it's chink then it's not legit. They make good knockoffs, but it's not real. Bought an MX518 from a stinky chinky and it was fake.

the ebay one ships from the US but it might be a China-based company. How about those they sell over at newegg? I'm looking at their silver for $35

RSI/10

i bought the mx master over this and I feel like a nigger

The older, major brand wired mice are definitely gold tier comfort and reliability. They don't have the kind of DPI and polling rate you want in modern gaming tho.

What would one recommend for similar comfort?

Looks, but it's comfortable irl

You faggots can't even compete

>Logitech G203
Replaced my G100s with this. Prefer the texture of the plastic, wheel feels sturdy, buttons have a crisper click and its nice having some shoulder buttons.

Only complaint is the backlight doesn't quite look white (kind of pinkish) and doesn't quite match my WASD Code keyboard.

has anyone tried the Nixeus Revel?
how does it compare to the Logitech G Pro

mx master stone

Needs moar keys.

Bought it 4 years ago for around 30€

Still werks fine for me

forgot pic

>coffee mug on the mousepad

Almost a perfect picture

Bought into the meme back in 2013. Got it for ~15$. Now it goes for ~80 on ebay. Great mouse overall, I wish it was slightly bigger though.

>heavy
wat
>empty batteries
They last for at least around a week and aren't expensive, this isn't a problem.
>delays
I've only had this problem once, and have been using wireless for almost a decade now. If you have this problem, it's something specific to that mouse or computer, not wireless mice in general.
>losing connectors
In all wireless mice you can (and should) attach the connector to the mouse again if you're removing it (unless you're just putting it aside for a moment). You'll only lose it if you're being retarded.

>youvsthemouseshetoldyounottoworryabout.png

The left button on my SS Rival 300 just started acting up (right at the start of a CS match none the less). At first it didn't work at all and now it's double clicking whenever I click it. What do I get? Considering a Zowie but I'm not sure yet.

It has to be optical, and I use 400DPI exclusively.

>bigger
How big is your hand?

>Your intellimouse get blacked?

About this big

>found what you're looking for

Logitech M100

nice

What is it called?

Ridiculous

comfy

i guess mionix mice are what youre looking for or some of the corsair mice

>trusty G400 fails after well over five years of use
>don't want anything with a different shape
>discover G400s was replaced by G402 which has double clicking issues
>FUCK
>search internet for new G400s, expecting nothing
>Newegg still has them new and cheap
>receive it and it's still perfect
>mfw

Ok seriously where am I supposed to get an actual intellimouse? Are sketchy ebay listings really the best I got?

USB "BIG" Mouse
usb.brando.com/usb-big-mouse_p02543c037d015.html

if you want actual. get used from america only

>lazada

BROTHER

i like it but in my larger case the reciver can be problematic, but since i needed an sd card reader and extra usb ports i was able to add read/hub to the side that still look good and not nigger rigged. so i could see some having probs with wireless for me its very nice

What kind is the "best one"?

If you ignore the """"esport""" design it's a good mouse.

Absolute worst mouse I've ever used, may as well get a $.99 no-name chink mouse. For a few more bucks you can get a G100s and have something somewhat decent.

I use a cheap Redragon Perdition chink-gamer mouse

I wanted something with a few buttons on the side for LoL active items, taunts and emotes. This mouse only costs ~25 and mine has lasted over a year. Good build quality, braided cable, good shape. 7/10 if it breaks I'll buy the same thing again

>Wireless
>Low Latency
>Hyper Scrolling
>30hr Battery Life

The shape isn't as ergonomic as I'd like, but it's a really neat piece of kit. I'll find it hard to go back to wired.

Literally the worst moust. Cant even lift it without something activating

they fixed it

love meeses to pieces.

They fixed it with a firmware patch and a second edition.

>he fell for the wireless meme
Just wait until you lose wireless connection during the most important competitive gaming moment of your life.

> Mouse porn

OP here, anyone have an opinion on the Japanese brands Elecom and Buffalo? When I go into Japanese stores, the mouse section is like evenly split between Elecom, Buffalo, and all other brands (Logitech, MS, etc), so they both seem to be major... but I have no idea what their rep is like, other than the cheap Buffalo I bought being shit.

>I wish it was slightly bigger though.
the pos of shit it's already massive and fucking heavy.
I bought into the g400 meme too. good mouse overall. would be better if it were smaller and not as heavy

I just got my logitech m570 and its been super comfy, you'll need a week to fully adjust though

what's the most functional ps/2 mouse out there?

my new job has everything on 200% lockdown, including disabling all USB ports and using wired ps/2 kb+mouse, and the fucking mouse doesn't even have forward/back thumb buttons.

I can squeak by a request for a different keyboard and/or mouse given a doctor's note swearing that I have boneitis and that only a particular make and model will help me, but they still have to be ps/2.

What's the most functional productivity mouse that works on W7 enterprise over ps/2?

i've been using the same stock mouse for ages now, the scroll wheel stopped scrolling over a year ago, and i'm FINALLY thinking of upgrading to something nicer.
what the fuck do i buy? from the little research i've done, there are 3 mice i am interested in: the logitech g502, the deathadder, and some zowie bullshit.
the only thing holding me back from just buying the g502 now is that i heard it's a little too heavy for fps, and the scroll wheel is kind of shit? zowie is supposedly the best for shooters, but they lack in the buttons department and for all i know it's all a reddit meme and they're just 'good', and the deathadder seems to be somewhere between the two. advice?

It's nice for big hands; fits mine like a glove.

The wireless connection is more reliable than the USB driver that runs on.
Windows is the most probable cause of failure.

>it will never happen because something else is more common
Logic fail.

In the 4 months as my daily driver, I've only had a connection issue once, and that was when it was

>it will never happen because of the incredibly small sample size of a single anecdote spanning four months of use
Logic fail. Please stop.

I've had the 900 since release and it's never disconnected on me once.

It'll wait until you have the flag in a late, tied CTF match. I warned you.

The point I'm making is that the connection is incredibly reliable, and dropouts are not a concern for me because they happen so infrequently for such small periods of time that it is a non-issue.

Well it's had plenty of opportunities already. It's slacking.

This. Plenty of people with wired mouses have them drop out all the time, but my G403 has never failed me in a clutch situation.

I think the g502 has a similar if not the same scroll wheel as a g700. You can't use the free wheel mode for gaming but that's really a non-issue plus it's super nice when you're scrolling long websites or documents.

>5 years and still going
I love this mouse.
