are they fucking insane?

And it'll probably cost less than 600 dolans. How do they do it?

my guess is $450

I'll probably get one to replace my Nexus 5.

By being Chinese

CHINKED

I dunno, but holy fuck those specs milk my udders.

I'll stick with the OP3T for a few more years, though. It's great.

3580 mAh, not 4000

Then its battery life will be poopoo.

Are they going to launch with matte black this time?

I would imagine so. The people that get them are mostly autists and the autists on Sup Forums screech about getting black everything.

For extra $199 - of course!

?

>qHD
Did you mean QHD or is it really coming in a 2007-era resolution?

>QHD

God fucking damn it, is there no 1080p version then?
QHD is completely pointless on a phone and drains your battery like a motherfucker

Is the screen OLED? My Galaxy S2 from 2011 had OLED so I ain't buying it if it's crappy LCD.

If there's nothing like Samsung DeX, it's a waste of specs.

How can I buy one of these?

oneplus.net/

this guy hasn't seen VR porn yet

I hope not. I'll feel really stupid for buying a 3T last month

why didn't you wait? 5 is practically here

I mean, that's kinda your own fault then for buying a 6 months old phone and being surprised that a new one in a similar price range comes out not much later.

I assumed it was going to be more expensive. And my old phone was falling apart and I wanted to switch carriers quick because I didn't get reception at my school.
When it comes to shit besides phones 6 months isn't considered very old.

>Just bought a SE
Ah fuck

But will it have OIS?

Are you sure about that? I could've sworn it was 4000.

My original oneplus one is starting to show its age. Man, I really want the 5 to be announced already.

>buying a bluetooth 4.2 device when 5.0 is already available

you dun goof'd

oh you chinky mother fuckers...

OP2, OP3, and OP3T all released less than 1 year from each other... I know technology advances, but this is just ridiculous.

what's the point of owning a OnePlus at this point if you'll kill support in less than a year. OP5 better come out in 2018.

I still use an OPO
Fuck upgrades this shit smooth as fuck

What OS do you have on it? I'm still on cyanogen 13 and my one has been acting up. Random reboots and each time it takes minutes before its actually starts back up.

If you had a 3 you didn't /need/ to get a 3t. If you got a 3t you won't /need/ a 5.

OnePlus One still going strong here and won't be replaced until it fails. It's just distilled willy waving at this point

Sultan ROM from XDA
Thank you mister pajeet

Used that one, update after update it became worse. Lags, reboots and general freezing. I don't know why, but fuck it got slow...

Try lineage OS works great on my machine.

Tbh oneplus is doing a great job and their phone quality has sky rocketed the past few years. my own only gripe with the company is that they don't offer small phone variants.

I would throw all my shekels at them if they brought a 5.2 inch version. (Yes manlet I know) after the OnePlus X nothing really came amymore.

Tbh if they did make a smaller version the OnePlus 5 mini would be a great name.

micro sd also

Every fucking year their phones get more and more expensive, eventually they will be the same price as the regular flagships.

8gb ram is a bit much in a phone isn't it? I've got 4gb and have never filled it completely

I max out 6 GBs and I don't even play any games. I can easily imagine people maxing out 8.

OnePlus phones have better specs than American flagships. OnePlus phones are underpriced.

Doing what? RAM disk?

i wish i knew if it will have a oled screen
although no oled screen compares with the samsung ones so maybe lcd would be better

God i hope they add stereo front speakers.
Would make it the best media watching phone.

I have a OPO and I don't /need/ a 5.

muh dick

>300

#neversettle

Im not buying a new phone until min.15k mah batteries are out. Tired of this half a day no swapable battery bullshit. My note4 will serve me for the next 5 years anyway.

...

what if phones become 5 times more efficient?

Then it would be super awesome with 15k

batteries aren't getting any smaller is what I meant, unless you want to take a brick around, you'll not be having 15k, but more efficient processors and maybe screen technology will get you more life out of the same juice. battery density hasn't been improving enough for you to put a 15 Ah battery in anything smaller than a tablet. phones are 60% battery already.

>he wants mini-nuke Samsung Galaxy s7 Fatman editions

Yeah that'll do so well in airports.

Why does the price keep going up every fucking time?

The whole point was flagship specs at cray cray prices.

At this point it'll be like "Flagship specs for $50 less than Samsung"

Whoop-de-fucking-doo. There are a million other chink OEMs who do it cheaper.

Holy shit same here

I'm still on cm13 because it just werks.
I did flash a custom kernel though and used synapse to tweak it. Used to get random reboots and stutters occasionally, and thought my OPO was gonna kick the buckets pretty soon.

Then I realised I set up the cpu load target wrong, redid it and its stupidly fast now. Even though I've underclocked to 2ghz my benchmarks still put it above all sd801 devices and the battery life gives me 5hrs SOT over 24hrs which is acceptable.

Custom kernels are the shit.

xiaomi has mi6 with sd835 and dual cameras for $350

why did $600 become cheap for phones?
real good phones like the lg g2 and galaxy s4 flagships were $300

Does it still get updates from OnePlus?

Because retards keep paying and manufacturers are happy to take the profit.

r u me

I did flash a rom on it , but the battery life went to hell , i went back to 6.0.1 battery still shit

Literally better specs than my desktop computer.

I nabbed 2x LG G6 for $500 burger bucks. Provided I get the $500 rebate.

You forgot to mention the buggy software and the shirty build quality there man

If it's qhd it means you can set it to 1080p

I still have a opo

It seems indastructable

Shit support after the OnePlus6 comes out next year

t. butthurt OnePlus X owner

> No removable battery
> No warranty whatsoever
> No more CyanogenOS or anything, only cobbled together shitty AOSP like roms
> 600$ or so

Fuck that.
Back in the Cyanogen era it was better. But then again, the battery was always a big issue for me. Then there is the warranty. Good luck with your issue if you are not from the US for example.

Samsung also gives me 2.5 years of warranty, Huawei gives 3 years. Warranty that I can count on, works, etc.

So ..no.

lmao same my dudes
little thing is still kicking, wish google didn't go full jew and end the low priced nexuses, let alone the nexus line all together

stop lying

>tfw I got cucked by the new aerospace law that prohibits batteries being shipped by air
>tfw I gotta replace my nexus when the only thing wrong with it is the battery
>but getting a battery now where I live is almost as expensive as getting a new phone

with undervolting, etc., I get 5hrs SoT (2 months of accubattery) and the SD800 is just as fast as any mid-tier 2017 phone. The only thing that sucks is the camera. I still have no reason to 'upgrade' considering I'd have to give up NFC and wireless charging. The N5 is truly the i5-2500k of smartphones.

undervolt

Because Apple proved that retards buy anything as long as the marketing is good so Samsung copied them like always and now everyone else is also increasing their prices.

It sure is.
>mfw I still have my 2500k and N5
The only thing that will force me to ditch the N5 is it's storage space. I got the 16gb version, and I'm going to be out of space soon.

This.
I dropped mine on a couple of rocks with the display facing the ground and it didn't even get a scratch.
My only real problem with it is that one of the speakers is sometimes not working anymore.

I get 11 hours of SOT out of my Moto Z Play which houses a 3650mah battery.

4K would be more than acceptable.

I'm on the latest lineage os, which uses android 7.1.2, elementalx kernel supports up to 7.1.1. I'm still fucked.

then use a better kernel like blu spark

I just keep an otg on my keychain

Ignoring patent licensing
Manufacturing in China with engineering in China
Retail margin gone, really any margin on the device at all
Abysmal support that blames everything on software and tries to get you to reset your phone for things that are obviously hardware issues e.g. Display coloration and give you the run around on warranty replacement

>elementalx kernel supports up to 7.1.1

From a technical standpoint this doesn't make any sense. Are you sure?

oneplus are amateurish idiots. the CEO refused to add an sRGB mode at first. i have much better faith in xiaomi, they have a huge community for roms and such too.

>muh no bands memephone

>muh bands
not an issue outside of burgerland

>falling for the oneplus meme

It says so on their downloads page.

this
i'm glad you understand user
no you don't
no phone has more than about 5 hours sot

my guess is that their webpage just isn't updated

there's no changes to the filesystem layout in point releases
