this guy isnt a good speaker

...

48 core Starship is coming in 2018. You can get 96 then, at least.

Then in 2019 you can get 2 64 cores, or 4 64 cores maybe, if 7nm makes it small enough to make 4p boards make sense for so many pins.

...

streem is ded jim

...

secondary works, though it hiccups from time to time

Butthurt intel and nvidia finally dossing the stream

I just had to refresh the page when it went out.

Oh wait, Starship is 7nm. I forgot.

>First

So we won't be seeing consumer GPU's for a while.

Fuck it i'll buy a 1080ti

EPYC LAUNCH IN 1 MONTH HOLY SHIT

16 second linux kernel compile vs intels shitty 22 secondsKEK

how is it for 480p csgo tho

>no consumer gpu
guess i'm buying a 1080ti

...

2 free months of Nvidia botn- i mean Geforce experience has been added to your facebook login

May 30th is the consumer vega.

now fuck off retard.

so they just glued 4 cpus together?

dubs confirm

im gonna upgrade from RX 480

.

>AMD has a pajeet in charge of their finances

no wonder they never profit

Why jump the gun when there is barely anything to use it on anyway. You don't have all the info yet. When Vega releases you'll win either because it kicks ass or because the 1080ti lost value.

That's called "Designed to scale" and it works pretty damn well. Way better than Intel's three ringbus circus.

Who should they have? a Jew?

yep.
and tied it with infinity fabric
they said its because of cost or some bullshit like that.

Anyone want me to keep posting screen shots?

>Have a Jew for 6 years doing nothing collecting 200 every time
>Profit
>???

Yes. I had to leave. Please keep posting AMD dominance.

AMD gonna become the biggest jew in 2020.

That's why I'm not bothered by the name.
It is, what it is.

Nvidia and Intel have 60% margins right now

>keep posting
K

these will not be in order but i'll post all I can get.

dang.

>Jews have 60% margins right now

pls confirm intel deal

she said it, the madman

first question:
where the fuck is vega?

Do you have a shot of the epyc sans heat spreader?

>INTEL CHAIRS

more product demos once the QA is over
probably will see threadripper, Naples and vega in there

>not 1080p version

Go back! :^)

holy shit. naples is 800 dollars?

2017/06/01 10am edt

they just talking about money now.
so what do you guys want to see?

It already got confirmed by many sorces on kabylake-X
its mainly on the IGPU front really boring stuff.

nothing offical yet because obviously there is no real product yet.

Literally Raja

what?

will there be anything after the Q and A?

also

>tfw no chinese waifu

the dude who asked the question "implied" it. The answer was 'no comments', yet.

i didn't know tom's hardware was invited

that dude should start talking with a posh english accent. it would be so epyc and perfectly fitting.

someone told Raja to stop dangling his feet.
They're here.

The bad of AMD they test their stuff on one thing and forget about everything except on their brand software look on Ryzen same will be with Vega and at "high end" prices no one will be the rabbit test

wow raja has long ears

...

...

raja is a brown elf girl.
confirmed.

wtf are you babbling about?

Oh fuck.

that's nvidia new bot.
it looks like it overheated.

In a nutshell: AMD is set to massively BTFO Intel in Datacenter markets, and Vega FE looks to BTFO Pascal greatly in HPC/Machine Learning markets.

And in conclusion: it might be good to invest in AMD while stock is ~12.3 to 12.5--and to effectively ignore any impact that gaming will have on said stock.

Is this a reasonable conclusion to draw?

LOL.

Sorta.

They still have to deliver on all this shit, and sell all this shit.

You buy if you think they will.

Reminder that machine learning and AI is the reason the nvidia stock price got so bloated. Hope you fags bought the AMD dip.

Isn't the direct implication of this that Vega will be able to talk to Ryzen CPUs using Infinity Fabric? What are the potential performance implications of that?

They already have a deal with google, this shit just ready to go over 20$ by the end of the year

My goal is small scale investment. 50 shares effective. Because the stream is live, I missed the early part of the financial day analysis. But I caught the later, data center oriented content. It seems like the server roadmap is solid and is going to offer a lot, while massively undercutting Intel.

Of course, its a matter of delivery, but at face value it seems that they're in a far better position than they were several years ago.

Gotcha. My understanding is that general purpose cloud deployment is going to be much larger in the next 3-5 years. EPYC seems like it would be a huge step up for these markets. To the customer, it likely won't result in a major difference in purpose; but on the back-end, Naples & EPYC seems like the core/thread, io, memory channels, etc, all would allow for a much greater market penetration at a lower cost threshold.

Also you may be in slightly rough shape if you buy in now since even though that is the price the stock is listed at now the stock may open quite a bit higher next trading day.

You just have to wonder each quarterly loss will hurt them.

They arent making a profit, in a years. This is not what companies do.

Microsoft is onboard with Project Olympus.

Smells like curry in here

>Isn't the direct implication of this that Vega will be able to talk to Ryzen CPUs using Infinity Fabric? What are the potential performance implications of that?

the Implications is that PCI-E Bus 4.0 might go Die faster than anyone realises.
the big problem is there is nothing to replace it with.

AMD is implying that infinity is on the motherboard now.

Not sure if that answer to the question?

This is going to get a AIB partner card right? This fucking shit is hideous!!! I'm not a fucking rapper AMD give me neutral colors!

There was that blue one.

Their render makes it look just as bad.

Who thought it was a good idea to call professional products "Threadripper" and "Epyc"?

Idgf, I'm buying AMD stock and will laugh when Intel crashes. Might buy Intel stock when they are in the shitter though.

That shit is old news. And it's not 20 dollars yet.

It needs to be this year. It needs to be new product.

Okay then buy the fucking gamer LED spaceshuttle AIB cards then, jesus.

Both look great IMO. No gaymer enough for you?

>Not buying when it was at 4 mericans

The engineers are also the marketing team.

No I like the plain black look of the fury. I don't need LEDs or fucking gold or blue cards. These look awful.

What the fuck do you want then? Are you buying a enterprise GPU or not? Because these are your choices.

They haven't even revealed the consumer gamer crap cards yet.

AMD will probably do their consumer stuff at Computex, which is on the 30th i think?

Intel is dead

I always wonder how the fuck those bitches have money with just 4 cores

AMD for life

yes

uninformed retards
go to /r/intel and you'll keep seeing retarded claims like "An Intel 12 cores would certainly beat an AMD 16 cores." and some other dumb shit like i5 being superior to R5

Those uninformed retards are caused by Intel's top marketing team. They even pay to shill gyoza cooking bulletins.

OK here's everything about the AMD investing situation as I see it.

Remember the idea of investing is not to be better than their competitors, it's to grow their own personal share of the market. Then their value will go up. The first strong product they have on their side are the ryzen 5 and 7s. Ryzen 5s are flying off the shelves. Current i5 is dead. Any current i7 below 7700k is dead. Ryzens are all unlocked for overclocking, support high ram speeds of almost 3000mhz at least, have low power draw, run cool, and most come with a cooler that is fine to overclock with. They also have their upcoming very high end desktop CPUs most of which have no identified intel equal even taking into consideration the i9s.

The second factor is vega. Every tech channel on youtube is going to cover that shit. If it's cheaper and better than current nvidia then they're just going to win straight up. They're also cucking nvidia pretty hard on AI now. Most people just assumed nvidia was going to own AI from now until forever. They were THAT deluded. As far as I know virtually every super computer on the planet is current comprised of giant arrays of Nvidias. Imagine the potential growth there is here. AI is the direct cause of the nvidia stock price bloat.

Now they also have that graphics deal with intel that I don't understand fully but is undoubtedly a factor, some finance websites were attributing the good performance of AMD's stock today on that alone.

Now you also have the Epyc CPUs for servers, that really seem to have amazing performance to offer. Not that long ago I remember AMD was the defacto server CPU, at least among the people I spoke to. Every server was automatically assumed to be running it. Now no one runs it. (1/2)

Any one of these factors on its own is an impressive factor for growth even on its own, and they have all of these. Remember that the guy in the presentation just said they have virtually zero market share in some areas remaining. The growth only has to occur in AMD for it to pay off, they don't have to completely uproot nvidia and intel. They can still grow big.

I personally only had a few hundred dollars to spare to invest and I got in at $10.70. I don't know what it's going to open at during the next trading day but I can pretty much guarantee it's going to be higher than what it's listed at now. I'll probably hold for a decent while. With any luck it could buy me my vega.(2/2)

>go to any tech forum and you'll keep seeing retarded claims like ..

Fixed for you. The misinformation and ignorance is endemic.

just center it in white background and you can have it in any screen size you want, ya dip

Oh shit!

Oh, nice. A new Q6600 or Pentium D.

servethehome.com/amd-epyc-new-details-on-the-emerging-server-platform/

holy shit that's massive. i want one

> not wanting a processor the size of a 2.5" drive

Don't talk shit about the Q6600 motherfucker
