American cars aren't too bad, Chrysler and GM do suck but Ford/Lincoln has some great cars. I got a 90s Towncar with 300,000 miles on it. My sisters taurus from 2005 has 200,000 on it. I hate German and Italian cars because they are a pain to fix and are unreliable

Not all of them. I put 345000 miles on a 190E. My wife's one is pushing 220000 miles. Some exhaust work, and consumables like oil, brake pads, and tires have been about it for maintenance.

Sony is fucking trash. made the walkman but after that they have nothing. Sometimes there are multiple sony brands of the same thing. german cars are meant for roads that have literally almost no imperfections like the roads of western europe. that and being maintained by the book... protip whereas bmw usa recommends a 10k oil change interval, they recommend shorter intervals in europe. why is that? because of the free maintenance, so they extend the oil change intervals to make the free services as low in cost to them as possible at the expense of the buyer's engines reliability

Before i started using *nix on apple hardware i went through a phase where i needed every bang for buck on my windows platform. I bought an asus laptop and 4850 graphics card.

The laptop hinge broke in 6 months and the mobo died 2yeasrs later....also the graphics card never fit right and was sketchy as fuck

Also anything linksys - had a pci wlan card almost kill my first x58 i7 because they dicked up the pci physical fit.
