*move content div up threw position absolute, until realizing u r doing more work then just hitting x on the pop up ads

I'll gladly do more work if it meant an advertiser starved to death.

>install uBlock Origin
>enable Anti Adblock Killer
>never have this issue with Forbes again

Except Citation Machine still detects it for some reason.

>overlay blurs content
>realize blur is just an image and the real content is removed in JS right as the page loads
>go full autist, reverse engineering obfuscated JS to circumvent blocking
>realize you've wasted hours on something that doesn't matter

or you know, you could just block javascript

>Please unblock our ads
>Unblock them
>Get a constant barrage of fullscreen ads which you cant close

I just did this 5 minutes ago and felt slick AF.

heh... nothing personnel, kiddo

what and where is reader mode?

very underrated

It's a firefox feature, I'm guessing chrome must have a similar version of it. Basically an icon shows up on the url bar for some pages, mostly news sites. Clicking on it will change the view to one with the article and its pictures, but nothing else. You can set the background color, font type, size and spacing to your liking. It also removes all scripts.

The feature is not always automatically available, but you can force it to. I've never found a page that didn't work properly work with it, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be always offered by default.

There are some that detect uBlock too.

*Blocks element* *Continues to use site*

isn't that the website that served malware ads like 2 weeks after they've introduced their anti-adblock shit.

That's correct. As soon as you disabled your ad blocker, it would load drive by malware. Nothing can be more ironic than that.

What's the current deal with admiral? It's seemingly in a hosted format now, running off the 1st party domains... then there are the dynamic divs. It doesn't seem to have a ready-made circumvention yet, and I'm lost as to how to debug it.

Check crackberry . com for practice.

neat. Im on firefox on linux but I didnt see it the button you were talking about.

Got a source for that image pal? Reverse image searching brings nothing.

Welp. I just learned dragging the image searches the thumbnail.

>never go to that domain again
*pssh*

do you not have this? I have 4chanX but I also have it on clover.

It's not about detecting it, you stupid shit.

Any site that actually needs to use that service isn't worth using.

>not opening the page source file and reading from the plaintext

>have 4chanx
>click google link
>it searches the thumbnail anyway

configure it properly

You know, as i was writing this i remembered there was an option for it.
For what reason did ccd0 change that? i remember perfectly that it used to search for the full image.
Doesn't help the fact that google image search became 1000 times worse unless you do that search all sizes thing, and even then if even 1 pixel column is cropped off it fucks the search up

If a website blocks ublock or if the article is a "premium content" article I'll just close it and assume that it's clickbait that I don't want to read anyway, and I'll never visit that website again. The news sites need readers, but readers don't need them. You are doing the news site a favor by consuming their content regardless of whether you look at their ads or not. Having an actual human being read the content that you produce is worth its weight in gold, and if they cannot take care of that opportunity they deserve to be eliminated by the market forces.

>anti-adblock that passes the ublock filters and prevents the site from loading by using javascripts but if you block JS the page won't load at all

>market forces
