Does Apple make their products biodegradable or something? All their rubber parts seem to crumble after a few years. Another added incentive to force you to upgrade.

How are you doing down there btw, Mr. Jobs?

They're designed to look good, not actually be useable.

They know retards will still buy it.

i believe he's cremated

I remember a time when people would bully everyone who owned an apple product, now it just seems like no one cares anymore. Well, not like I like apple, but have their iphones become an actually decent product?

They have been, and always will be the most reliable and easy (read: good) smartphones.

>have their iphones become an actually decent product?
No!

Apple shills now?

why don't they put proper strain relief on cables any more ; _ ;

Do you think Apple cares about you and your purchased Apple product? No. They just want money. They'll use cheap materials so they save money themselves, and you'll need to keep buying replacements.

>hurr durr I buy new maccie
>oh no :( the $100 cable brokie aftr 6 monthies
>betr buy a new onee :))

They won't want the actual Mac or iPhone to break or anything, because then you won't have a reason to keep buying new cables.

Their cables are absolute garbage but I still haven't found a better laptop than a MacBook Pro

For the price you would expect their chargers to be higher quality. I also find laughable is the amount of dongles Apple users own and they actually defend it.

>cable is all yellow and dirty and disgusting
I've owned Apple shit for years and mine looks brand new, especially compared to that.
>be a disgusting subhuman
>blame the hardware when it fails
It's not exactly the most hardy cabling, but give me a fucking break. If your equipment looks like that, you are a loser and have no valid opinion.

they're generally better than the alternatives but you can't say so here without some autistic child/manchild losing their shit.

>your purchased Apple product
I've never paid for an Apple product. The stuff I got for free was a series of headaches.
>now collect dust
>crumbling away from particle decay

>they're generally better than the alternatives

How so? If you expect anyone to believe this statement you should say why.

Also, I would never support any device that prevents me from installing whatever I see fit, like an emulator.

This.
My prefs are ASUS + ATI + GNU/Linux.

Congratulations, you never go outside

Also this. Another appke win.

I don't know how this happen, I've seen it so many times in other peoples gear, but not had a happen a single time to myself.

What are they doing to their cables that I'm not?

I have lightning cables from when first released them in perfect condition. I have no idea how people get them to "crumble." Do people just not wash their filthy hands or something?

>they're generally better than the alternatives
designed to stop working after 2 year, try more retard

My 2010 iPhone 4 still goes strong

It's caused by faggots who bundle their cords up and throw them into the bottom of their bags as opposed to coiling them up properly around the posts or looping them up. Shit gets kinked and frayed. I guarantee the faggots who have this happen are kids who's parents buy them this shit for $education who have no interest in taking care of it because it wasn't their money. I saw the same with non apple hardware under the same conditions.

Pic related. Original supply with the laptop, which saw me through uni and served me till about 2013. Granted the ends where it gets handled is yellowed, but I put that down to my obsessive use of hand moisturizer more than anything else.

Stop using your cables after you jerk off you disgusting faggot

oh is that what that is

>Apple shills
Dealt with hundreds of varying cables over several years. This only happens with apple cords. Your picture only proves the point.

> cord that has zero fray damage
> "picture proves the point"

Why are wintoddlers so desperate to shit on apple that they make such blatantly wrong statements?

> t. sitting in front of an EliteBook 9470 but still has an appreciation for Apple hardware

>Screeches autistically after Steve Jobs
It's already started and you don't even see it.

> "it's already started"
> on an 11 year old piece of hardware
> at its point of maximum repeated flexation
> comeonnow.css

This is the only mac I have ever owned, purchased so I could run ProTools. I now run it via hackintosh on Xeon hardware. But keep crying about your inability to take care of the laptop mum bought you.

>Screeches ever louder with autistic defiance.

It's not a super sturdy cable but it should not look like that if you're not a monkey.

Had a MBP since 2012 and the cable is just fine. Also i live overseas and carry the laptop around almost every day.

...

He meant hell

almost everyone in my classes have those half broken cords. if thats not the case, they are using the latest one

Apple cables do seem to get very frail and end up decomposing. I wonder why.

They cost 1 cent more to manufacture and they don't look "apple clean".

kek

>tfw still using the same Nokia cables from almost 10 years ago
They just don't break

Is it because they're white?
Are black cables less vulnerable to UV or something?

Yes!
Also, no grimy old-colour look.

>vulnerable to UV
It's not the sun's fault.

>hurr durr I buy new maccie
I'd like to buy a Maki too.

>micro usb on phones 10 years ago
>let alone on nokia, which still used proprietary connectors back then
yeah nah

>almost

It's designed so they can sell more cables/adapters.

It costs them $0.20 to make the Lightning cable but they sell it for $20.

How do you retards not understand capitalism?

Are you dumb?
Those USB cables came with my 5310, from 2006/2007, and the charge came with my X2, from ~2010.

I had my iPhone 6 since launch and it still runs like new. Troll harder faggot.

>mfw I realised Apple will never be as revolutionary again.

>t. iToddler

>tech device
>runs like new!
What?

Apple are pros at planned obsolescence

This just happened to my mom a year after buying her a mb air.
Would it kill them to just braid the charger?

>buy apple chinkshit
>would it kill apple to not make chinkshit?

Not sure what you expected senpai.

>he doesn't mod his appleshit
kek

It's not even worth, just buy a chink cable, it will work the same and last longer.

Those are bite marks though.

I love bashing and shitposting threads, but shitty bait is unacceptable, it's only fun when it's true.

Not related but does anyone know an app that'll allow me to use the front camera non-mirrored?

...

There is nothing wrong with frosting-coated cables that melt from system heat. Just buy a 70USD replacement cable.

they're good especially since respectable alternatives like the Nexus line have gone up to the same pricepoint.

A good Android handset is great if you consume a lot of media or do most of your computing on your mobile device since there is a huge open feature set. Core application function on Google Android has also come a very long way to properly compete in terms of stability with iOS.

Kek

>carrying any sort of charger around
>using a computer that needs charging at any point in your day
Please, just stop

just buy one of the $30 amazon clones, they work perfectly

>t. iToddler

>no official recall issued against itoy or any of its accessories
>claims there are problems
nice fake news

>international plane crash and 66 deaths
>b-b-but that's negative towards apple so it mus b fake!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

iToddlerism.

>Android shill so desperate he's sourcing isolated sensationalist fake news about one malfunctioning itoy
like I said come back when Apple has an international recall mandated by multiple credible consumer agencies. Some chink reassembled itoy in the hands of one shitskin doesn't count

>t. iToddler

I've kept lightning cables on my desk and just plugged a phone in once a day, without manhandling it, and they still fucking die. However I believe it's because the contacts corrode due to the general shitty design of a lightning port causing shorts due to an uneven contact with the pins. This results in having to jiggle the cable to get it to charge which then makes the shitty cable with no stress relief literally pull out from the glue that holds it to the connector. Tim Cook needs to be gassed for his crimes.

>knows apple chinktrash is shit
>buys it anyway

Get gassed.

people care -- or care enough not to want Apple.
I spent a week in 6th and 7th Grade classroom in the rich part of rich Vancouver: all the kids see Apple as old people computers. They all have their own computers, and most of them were waiting to upgrade to the Surface Pro 5.
I asked if anyone was going to get an iPad Pro 2 and they looked like I'd asked them if they wanted to eat dog shit.

I thought it was common sense to never ever use the supplied cables from any company, since its intentionally made in lower grade to cut cost.

I put third party cables for everything, there was a major defect with the asus monitor external power supply which was easily fixed by buying a laptop power supply.

Well, I thought that the opposite was common sense. Well at least it is for me

All my chargers from the 90s and early 2000s still work fine.

treat a apple chargers the same as pc chargers completely the same, apple chargers require replaicng every six months due to this garbage, every pc charger ive had has lasted longer than the laptop itself

Listen here crapple fuckers, i had a BRAND SPANKING FUCKING NEW pair of crapple headphones (or iButts what ever you fucking call them) that sat in my drawer for 2 fucking years UNUSED in their fucking plastic holder WITHOUT being exposed to sunlight or any type of other element and they fucking degraded like fuck to the point where it was fucking disgusting to use them, they felt like they where made from fucking oily clay.

NEVER FUCKING USED AND THEY DEGRADED.

The burger that gave them to me fucked up his left ear and couldn't use earphones or earbuds, he had to use headphones so he gave these to me for shits and giggles.

Never used them, stashed them and forgot about them.

Fuck you and fuck your ghey crapple shit, go blowjobs or something.

This.

The cheap rubbery shit apple uses for their cables are the lowest quality garbage you can possibly find. This shit is literally made to disintegrate into sticky nasty crap 2 years from the date it's manufactured.

Meanwhile I've a shelf in the garage full of ancient PC parts and cables from the fucking 90s and the plastic on the cables are still as good as new. Apple is plain and simply trash.

They're made to be pieces of shit cheap as possible.

It's why they allow shit like the iphone 6s to have 16gb storage and cost $80p

Meanwhile my 2005 ipod mini and headphones still work just fine and have none of these made up problems.

You know what else is biodegradable? Shit.

Therefore, Apple products = shit

Posted from my MacBook Pro

>t. iToddler

>Nexus line have gone up to the same price point.
You know google fucked up when the pixel is the same price as iPhone and doesn't have OIS and waterproofing.

they make them for peope who can afford not to use the same crap for more than 3 months

When that's how must fandroid work when losing

Btw my chinkshit cable after 4 years of use.
Housing is torn but still works flawlessly. Really fires my neurons why...........

Btw my 5 years old chinkshit cable. Housing is all torn but still functions flawlessly(unlike applel)
Really strikes my neurons why.......

feck thought i got error in first attempt

put a check in the top left box on one of your posts, then hit delete button on bottom right of page

Let's not forgot those flaking palm rests.

>Asus

I had to buy a replacement ($250 dollarydoos at that) and straight away I taped the cable to the brick to take the stress off that point. They're total bollocks that you have to coddle and they'll probably never fix it

Don't even get me started on lightning cables

Yes, compared to how it was before.
You literally could not background.
There were no quick settings pull down.
Safari could not upload a file to Sup Forums.
You could not side load apps.

iPhone 4 was the first decent one, 5 and later were pretty good. And at this point Android phones are just as glued shut and losing memory cards, UMS connectivity and audio out.

>not knowing that you can get it replaced if you are still in warranty

are you guys that dumb or is this internal information only? I've gotten APP for my mac and got it replaced 3 times already for free. jesus man

Your cable already looks terrible. I take zero care of my cables, from small (IEMs) to big (laptop power cord) and I've had no problems in more than 20 years.

The worst I've had was breaking the little nubs of RJ45 cables (the few that do not have something to protect them), but it's not a safety issue and they still fit.
