I one finger type

>I one finger type

There's a better way?

>he doesnt two finger and thumb on the space bar type

>he can't touch type
How does it feel to be a brainlet?

>left index
>right middle
>side of left thumb for space

Funny enough, I type faster than most computer teachers did when I was younger.

>I toe type

I one finger touch type

>he doesn't speak to the microphone so it types what he says

>i no finger type ;)

...

I remember ~2001 we had to take a desktop applications class in middle school where one of the things we learned was touch typing using the home row. Do kids today still have Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing? Or is typing going to be a lost art with the iPad generation?

nah its gone

Jesus Christ I forgot how bad the animation in that show was.

all this time and I still don't know the girl in the gif

>learning to touch type properly
Look at this nerd. AWSD for life.

Even in the late 2000's we learned touch typing in school, and people I graduated with still can't do it.

The homerow style of typing is shit. One handed dvorak is superior.

This was me until I actually started working, time to ditch windows and get comfy in cli; touch typing is necessary for this.
If you cant touch type you can't do anything well other than click-aound web-browsing and videya.

I used to do this. It's worth an afternoon to learn to type like a functional adult solely because you need to be able to assert dominance over others whenever you use a keyboard. My speed only improved slightly but I look a lot more like a proper cybermage.

> work in IT for years, surprising amount of IT folks can't touch type. Have seen every crazy variation of finger combo typers you can imagine. some just type with 2 fingers on each hand, some with 3 fingers on one hand one finger on the other hand.

shake my head as I see them typing and their head going back and forth between keyboard and screen a hundred times to type a paragraph.
