Hi, i recently went from GTX 750 to iGPU HD 610 for budget reasons. I have noticed that videos now have more noticing "macroblocking", compression artifacts and banding (lack of dithering?) even on YT videos and Media Player with madVR render. Does nVidia really have some automatic magic video rendering technic or something? I have been using nVidia cards since 1999 so its kind weird to see video looks worse now. I dont know... if there is way to check if there something wrong or im just seeing things cuz i sold a better card?
Intel HD Graphics video rendering problem?

intel graphics are terrible
>budget reasons
Elaborate... I don't understand what would force you to drop it.
Should have bought an i7 with hd 630 graphics
Nvidia is probably doing some post processing in their hardware accelerated decodes.
I had i3-2100... i needed to change to LGA1155 and G4560 is cheaper
i play on consoles so i dont really need good graphics... and i didnt what to spend fortune on new hardware

Update to latest Intel 21.20.16.4664 driver
i know... but i thought that video will be the same
That doesn't really explain why you had to drop it. Laptop?

thing is... im on Win7 and im using some beta drivers from ASUS cuz i cant intall oficial divers... is that the problem?
no, i now just wait when GTX 1050 will be cheaper (Palit KalmX passive cooling version, same like my last card)
just buy a cheap gpu (2013 and up) to handle the videos should solve that problem
I bought cheapest mobo that supported Displayport so thought that i was futureproof for 4K... sep GPU was optional for me but i must be SILENT but that cost more
Install latest drivers i was able to watch 1080p 60fps videos with no problems when i did not had any GPU with my shitty HD 530
the MSI GTX 970 4G has a 0db function that doesn`t start the fans until the card reaches 60 degrees celsius. it should be able to handle 4k videos
i wouldnt recommend that card since the 3.5gb fiasco rather go for the Palit GTX 1050 Ti KalmX
whats your budget op?
about 100-120 dollars for now
i think i will do that if i cant fix this
cool but as i was saying im using 21.20.16.4508 cuz im on Win7... is it worth to jump to Win10 Spyfest?
gimme a sec
RX 460
Pairs well with the G4560, pcie power only, really good for high res video
If you don't mind going used and have a beefy power supply, look into an R9 290 or 780ti for around 100$
go for the rx 550 newer cheaper sips power, quiet or you could go for the fanless 1050 ti
>RX 460
i have only 400W supply but thx for suggestion :)
>Windows 7
Get with the times, grandpa.
Save 20 bucks more and get this one.
Don't confuse RX 460 with GTX 460.
RX 460 can be found without extra power.
