So i saw that video of the real life iron man suit, and it looks to me like a dude on wires.
Is it legit?

Looks fake as hell, but I'm not interested enough to google for more information.
i watched a few vids of it and i read a few articles from google - it still looks fake as hell to me thought. Thats why i am asking here in case anyone knows about this kind of tech
yes
care to elaborate?
Looks like a 3d rendering tbqh
video?
quattro has a better jetpack than this
Will naruto running get popular again?
youtube.com
It's 100% legit I'm an employee at the company that provides some of the components.
That looks 100% like a 3D rendering
>6 jet engines
it can work since working jetpacks exist
he has probably sensors to adjust the power so he doesn't fall on his face
so you work at rs components - how is that proof its real?
youtube.com
also a there's random guy who build a working jetpack in his garage out of scrap
because he knows how much power the engines can provide you retard?
Why is this board full of retards who have no idea about technology when a quick search will provide a bunch of answers?
Are you guys retarded?
It is real
Wired and redbull interviewedhim.
Also why would they be promoting this guys project if he's just on a wire?
yes there is enough power - but he has 4 engines on his arms. On his arms. Two words - stability, how. have you seen the videos? he maintains and exact height at all times. like on a wire
Look up how an RC helicopter works faggot. He does it the same way. Also lots of training.
And sensors probably balance the engines' output so it doesn't break his arms and shit.
>technology board
>shitload of retards who don't understand there's lots of technology they don't know it exists
No wonder lots of retards here uses Appleshit.
This is how a fake looks like
youtube.com
>OP posts a shitty photo
>HURR it's 100% 3D render, I can tell by the pixels
>they don't ask for the video
How retarded are you?
>another jetpack
>this time you can blow your arms too if it fails
that is a video form 2008. Today is 2017. You don't think maybe cgi and video hoaxing has moved on a bit in the last decade?
>guy hovers 10cm over the ground
Totally worth faking, right?
It was just an example faggot.
If you want VTOL, this is what we got.

if you can jump, this is better
youtube.com
Both are mostly off-the-shelf components. Give it another decade.
He's moving his arms in a way that wouldn't work if some of his propulsion is coming from his arms and his legs are super stiff like he's in a harness. It looks fake but I fail to see what the motive behind faking it is
The jetpack in Origin 03 is better designed and couldn't damage the users hands.
