How relevant is this flag's message to your personal computer and software philosophy?
How relevant is this flag's message to your personal computer and software philosophy?
That image is harmful and goes against the FOSS philosophy.
The Anarcho-communist flag works better.
...
I strongly believe that others should not tread on me and I avoid treading on others, unless they really don't care or willingly allow me to. I guess it's relevant.
>Trump
Not enough anime.
NOW WE'RE TALKING
It pertains to my strong feeling that I want Sup Forums to stop treading on all other boards. Like its fore-runner /mlp/, Sup Forums has to go back.
...
>How relevant is this flag's message to your personal computer and software philosophy?
I don't even know what it means desu
>trump
>constitutionalist
State rights or guns or the KKK or something.
Sup Forums is relatively harmless, it's mostly newfags and shills.
99% hot gas.
1% pure evil.
That's entirely the reason why everyone wants Sup Forums to stay in Sup Forums.
It's the flag that was used during the American revolution. Libertarians have appropriated it though.
There is nothing wrong with constitutionalists, libertarians, and the tea party admiring the flag and ideas of the founding fathers.
Libertarianism the the ultimate goal of a society.
I believe in the physical removal of leftist.
Governments are coercive by nature.
Free market is the base for prosperity and freedom.
t. Linux user.
>Free market is the base for prosperity and freedom.
Then you should be against Net Neutrality.
Looks like Sup Forums is getting better, thanks for not being the communist retards most of the board and linux culture is.
Senpai, I am.
I'm against every kind of (((government))) regulation.
ancom is probably the more appropriate equivalent to my software philosophy
or maybe since i make exceptions libsoc lol
People decide what they pay for, if they prefer ISPs that preserve Net Neutrality then buy that service. Nothing stopping them.
You could bet a community lead by a jew who is against private property and profit will be filled with communists.
Honest question, why do you think you or anyone else deserve the free labor of others?
There is nothing wrong with pedophiles, islamists, and the horse fuckers admiring the flag and ideas of the founding fathers.
Libertarianism is the death of society you cretin.
100% pure libertarianism is anarchy.
False, libertarians think the state needs to exist but not for whatever you want it to do. Libertarians believe the state is necessary to preserve security for example. Talk to libertarians, you're wrong.
It's a matter of mindset, in general I don't believe that anyone can throw away their deeply ingrained ideology and just work in a new one, this change would have to be very gradual and the "real world" is an entirely different animal.
But for software, it's a new frontier and there is a chance to establish it in a way that avoids the corruption of all systems of men, including corporate systems and governments. I don't believe participation is mandatory regarding a computer system either, so it's perfect grounds for such a philosophy to flourish and users and those who want to contribute to reap the benefits of. I'm sure since you're in the thread you already know /why/ we want to keep software out of the strict control of corporate or government entities, so that too.
>being this deluded
Grab a book Tryrone.
Libertarians believe in states rights and see the federal government as a necessary evil that has overstepped its boundaries. Anarchists are also very far left and would probably view libertarians as nazis.
>Talk to libertarians, you're wrong.
>"taxation is theft!"
nah, libertards from the land of the free just want the benefits of government, without paying for it.
>All libertarians are one person
The is a clear distinction between Open source (voluntary association and cooperation of individuals) and the (((FSF))) that says closed source is inmoral, even Stallman said he would stop people from writing closed source software if he could
Like must be so easy for you, when someone disagrees, just attack a strawman.
Libertarianism is the teenage angst of politics.
You mean the party, doesn't mean you can't be part of the republican party and still agree with libertarian ideas.
You said you're demsoc, do you agree with free healthcare or other government handouts?
Nice argument.
I don't know if you can even find two "libertarians" who agree with libertarian ideas
I don't use software that uses threads.
It wasn't meant to be a reply to that guy it was just supposed to be a statement. Still applies though
Well this is correct in my opinion. While the world is capitalist and people should be able to be incentivized via that means, closed source is inherently poisonous. It drives progress at an accelerated rate, incentives are high, but all systems of men are corruptible and will be corrupted. The user will inevitably be exploited. It runs contrary to the entire philosophy to only hold /certain/ systems of men to this standard, when all are liable to take advantage. There is no real world parallel to the secrecy in which a software company can operate. You might be inclined to say "all systems of men are liable to exploit people, so why anything?" and that's true, but software can do it without anyone ever knowing, without a serious system of checks and balances and enormous power over the end user. People can just not use that software, but realistically nobody is ever going to care enough about themselves and companies like this will flourish.
There is too much arguing among the libertarian party, that's why there will never be a libertarian president after ron paul dies.
It's correct to assume that if you sell something you loose any power over that object and the new owner can so as he pleases with said object, but you don't sell closed source software, you rent it, either for a one time fee of subscription model, that why you are required to consent to an EULA in order to use it.
In other words software is more similar to a service than a product.
So the whole argument of >muh closed source software in inmoral!1 is non sequitur
The US will never be free again if it continues to be the fist of the Jew.
Taxation is alright, but there must have a limit.
There shouldn't be a plastic bag tax, or you must pay 50% of your OWN salary for tax.
That girl freaks me the fuck out everytime I see it.
>he doesn't like lamias
Fucking pleb
Snake and lizard girls are literally patrician.
...
POO IN LOO
fellow libertarian here.
anyone who is anti-libertarian is pro-authoritarian and therefore probably just a paid government shill.
...
I like you.
You don't even know what a libertarian is and you still clicked the thread to spew your idiot memes
Nice job subhuman
>every windows 10 user
>He doesn't have Hoppe memes
>He calls himself a libertarian
