You only hate Apple products until you use them
You only hate Apple products until you use them
I gave my macbook air away when I got a thinkpad x60 with libreboot.
- Reformed apple user
I grew up using Macs
They are now complete shit and if you think otherwise then you are a post-iphone mac user
No. I actually hate the Mac Studio more after having used it than before having ever touched it. I don't have anything against the hardware (excepting that cancerous keyboard) but the operating system was just trash.
I had to use a Mac Studio in a computer imaging course because it is supposedly an industry standard device. If it is, then I certainly don't want to be a graphic designer.
>You only hate Apple products after you finally get your hands on them and realize they are actually not all that Apple's massive marketing machine makes them out to be nor anywhere near the pricing that Apple demands for them.
FTFY
[Continued]
My first computer was actually a Macintosh. One of the really old ones. It didn't strike me, at the time, as a computer that you could do work on. It was just a fun thing to play with. Of course, to be fair, this computer was from the nineteen nineties.
I had a similar experience to you, but I had an iMac G3.
This is true.
NEET
I have 3 very close friends who were making fun of me using mac in the past. They all 3 are now apple users.
1 of them has iphone, ipad and macbook pro and second guy has ipad pro and iphone. the last one only has ipad but wants to buy iphone too.
Sounds like you and your friends are a bunch of normalfags. You know what that means.
GET THE FUCK OFF MY BOARD YOU FUCKING NORMIE SCUM
I used to really like them, but their current lineup since Steve Jobs died is questionable. The pursuit of perfection is no longer a goal of Apple.
Little things, like the antenna lines, make it look like they're some problem yet to be solved, when in fact, it was already solved years ago with the iPhone 4. Apple has become a meme of its former self.
i didn't care for apple one way or the other until i used their products. now i think they're trash.
worse yet, even if their products were good i still wouldn't buy them because their main clientele are insufferable lower class retards that think financing a $800 phone or $2000 computer over a few years is a sign of wealth.
Only thing I liked about Mac is "colors" and rendering of them, dictionary, ibook reader.
Everything else is garbage.
I disagree. I have a Mac at work and don't use it.
>i still wouldn't buy them because their main clientele are insufferable lower class retards
That basically makes you the equivalent of an Apple faggot minus the brand name
Had a nexus 6 for a while, hated it. Bought an iPhone 7 plus and so far it's been great. Not sure why you guys hate apple so much.
Sent from my iPhone
>You only hate Apple products until you become gay
ftfy
au contraire, my lower class friend.
all lower class symbols of "wealth" are disgusting. nigger shoes, e.g. jordans, tacky jewelry, apple products. it just makes you look like a negroid or wigger.
the only good macs were the ones that played oregon trail and the next gen that played that bug game
This statement happens to be completely true. I hated apple, now I have two hackintosh's as well as my old 2nd gen ipod.
OSX is truly amazing, however building a hackintosh is much better than buying a cannon apple product.
Apple should do more software design instead of hardware.
I liked Apple and I have an old MacBook, one of the first ones with Intel processors. But eventually I had installed Ubuntu and get redpilled. Since then I had been a Gentoo user for 1.5 years and recently I migrated to Debian stable. I'm indifferent to Apple and hate Apple users.
...
theyre okay, but even after buying a macbook the hardware is overpriced and the os isnt worth the issues with hackintoshing
it's not bad, but I don't have use for them when it comes to using it for moving stuff to Android and playing videogames. I'm also very cheap so I'd only buy a Mac mini
I miss the days when Sup Forums hated apple because of patent trolling and unfree software
now it's just a bunch of gamerate poltards yelling "gay gayyyy", just pathetic
They're shiny and they feel masterfully well-crafted up to a point.
They just aren't practical or cost-effective unless you're some wealthy teenager who just browses the web instead of doing actual work though.
SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU NIGGER
I HAVE BEEN USING HANDMEDOWN IPHONES FOR YEARS BECAUSE IM POOR AND I JUST GOT A XIAOMI REDMI NOTE AND NEARLY CRIED TEARS OF JOY BECAUSE IT HAS A FILE MANAGER. WHY THE FUCK DONT IPHONES HAVE FILE MANAGERS. THEYRE COMPUTERS. FUCKING NONFREE NIGGER FUCK FUCK APPLE DIE FUCKING APPLE PIGS
I have used a MacBook Air, a MacBook Pro, a 27" iMac, and two different iPads. None of them were mine, but I got to use them long enough to find my way around OS X and establish an opinion as to whether I want any of them.
I dislike Apple as a company, but I have no strong feelings towards their products and I can't say that I "hate" them. But I don't understand why I would want any of their products. None of them are appealing or particularly impressive. Decent at best, objectively shit (see: throttlebook pro, and the keyboard even macfags hate to use) at worst.
guy on the right looks like the fucking tax master
t. trap loving homo
I've had a Mac Mini, an iPhone 3G, an iPhone 4S, a polycarb Core 2 Macbook, a modern Macbook Pro, and an iPod Shuffle. In school, we used iMac G3s. I'm currently still in possession of most of what I listed.
I would not buy another Apple product. Apple has gone dramatically and hilariously downhill since Jobs died.
iPhone is good. Everything else, eh.
iPhones, I can see why. But Mac are absolute fucking trash.
Go, buy a new Macbook and watch that shit stutter and lag navigating the UI.
I only like the OS and that's solvable by assembling a hackintosh or buying a memepad T420.
>being so autistic you need a file manager on a fucking smartphone
This is why nobody takes you seriously tapping away at your phablet with uncut fingernails.
IPhones have objectively shitty software. MacBooks have objectively shitty hardware. Other Apple products don't matter so I have no opinion on them.
os x breathed new life and unix into them fuck u
they're pretty practical IMO
install iFile
I used apple products then grew to hate them.
Same story here.
I got a free MacMini years ago. It was a PITA to use it because it's not able to detect monitor compatibility. If you use a non-Apple monitor and change to an unsupported resolution, it won't even warn you that it won't work nor would it change back to the original resolution if it doesn't work. Fucking stupid design. Windows didn't have this problem. It won't lock down the resolution if it doesn't work.
I was always thinking Apple products were shit. Then, I've got my hands on MacBook Pro which I worked on for about half a year. I had realized how wrong I was. Apple products being merely shit is a huge fucking understatement.
...
I hated them before I used, while I used them, and I still hate them after I've stopped using them. Apple products are overpriced, locked down, overheating, throttling pieces of trash. Never again.
What is it, darling? Have you stumbled upon an unfamiliar word there? Was it "worked"?
>I can't form my own opinions and need Sup Forums to do it for me: the post
I formed my opinions while using the iPenis 6 and 2015 Fagbook "Pro". Both we're absolutely terrible in terms of both software and hardware. Thank fuck I'm off that train.
I always wanted Apple products, when I finally bought an iPod 5G I regretted it. My sister bought a mac book pro and hated it (hardware reasons). OSX is fine but I would recommend it on a hackintosh.
>buys both expensive current gen apple products
>changes his opinion after Sup Forums tells him to
>thinks he has any authority to shit on apple after sucking their dick and actually enjoying their good products
LMAO
I bought and used them. If I liked them, I would've kept using them. However, I did not like them and I sold them because they are trash. I have the authority to do whatever the fuck I please, Pajeet.
>resale nigger
Oh lord you're just begging for (You)s aren't you honey. I'll leave you to your contrarian ways now :)
>being so obsessed with your fruity status symbols that you'd let $2000 sit in a drawer
>calls people "honey" like a flaming homosexual
Haha what a fool.
I used to be indifferent about them. I only started hating them once I used them. They're just too much hassle and everything takes forever.
I've used an Apple product and it wasn't enjoyable.
You can say whatever you want sweetie, but you know I can't take you seriously since you let Sup Forums formulate your opinion.
>everything takes forever
>in comparison to windows and linux
>os x breathed new life and unix into them fuck u
So you admit that you are settling for shitty apple hardware?
Because if you had been using Mac desktops and laptops before the iphone then you would know of the drop in quality.
>"think different "
>uses the same consumer garbage as all the other normies
Yeah, sure. Whatever makes you feel better.
What can Macs do that PCs can't? I kept hearing they have better programs and it's meant for artists and musicians. Seems like there are more available on PC, possibly better as well.
I can only think of coding macOS programs.
Been an anti-mac person for many years, but got the chance to buy a 2014 MacBook Air for almost no money a few months ago.
It looks and feels nice, is light, and has a huge battery. I really like it. I was gonna resell it but it's my main laptop now, and I enjoy it daily.
The trackpad works like shit under linux though, and the keyboard is missing way too many useful keys. It also gets disturbingly hot when doing almost nothing.
>implying you have to be a "think different" fag to use apple products
Groupthink cuck detected
>unironically using the word "normies" as a derogatory statement
lmao
I switched to PC ages ago for design, There was a performance advantage in the PowerPC G3 days, but it went downhill the second Apple switched to Intel.
You can see online everywhere that the Emulated PowerPC version of Photoshop CS3 ran better than the native Intel version of it on OS X on the same computer.
You need to kys shill.
>Emulated PowerPC version of Photoshop CS3 ran better than the native Intel version of it on OS X on the same com
This was one of the most ridiculous things
Apple basically said "we are doing it for perf and power!!!!"
then 64bit PS hit windows and then mac ages later
With GPU accel in PS you would have to be a fucking idiot to use mac now. Especially if you are a photographer or other type of professional who needs a workstation that can have an extra HD tossed in it without eating up desk space.
Filthy dumb normie scum detected.

See you on /r/the_donald!
Yep, the Studio I work at has switched from the 2012 MBP 15" to the Surface Pro 4 recently.
The Mac is supposed to be so much faster with a Quad core and dedicated GPU, but everything is over and done with in less than half the time on the Surface, it's fucking ridiculous.
The Surface is definitely a strange choice for the department to make, but it was still a massive upgrade from the Macs.
>casually mentioning reddit
You have to go back.
>redditor didn't even realize he has been called out on his shit
>tries to use a recently learned meme
Go back.
>waaah!
>$$$$$$$$$
Get out, kike shill.
>get out reeee!
You have to be 18 or older to post on this site.
actual homosexual here
apple products are shit and i've convinced my fiance to buy an htc u11 instead
>used iPhones 2G-4
5 rolls around, is shit, switched to Android
>used MBP until 2014
They cucked them to hard, got a Dell latitude with dual boot, still working perfectly
>used iPods until 2010
iTunes brick it somehow an couldn't get it to work and got a replacement nano but it was shit
The state of Applel is getting more depressing by the day... Switch while you still can. I personally give them 10 years at most before they shit the bed as company completely.
>10 years
>You only hate shit until you taste it
no thanks
Nah, I use them and I still hate them.
its only true for the smaller ipad pro.everything else is literally garbage.
>tfw even Windows Phone 10 has a first-party file manager
I've used a 6 plus and a 7 for a month each. Yesterday I traded a 7 for a pixel.
The iPhone were alright for what it offered out of the box but the pixel is the funoption
I said at most. But yeah with that kind of "innovation" It's 5y tops
I can honestly say it's the exact opposite in my case.
I don't have any opinion one way or the other until I actually tried using an iphone and a macbook. I found it extremely frustrating, probably because I'm very long time GNU/Linux user and Android user. I may also matter that I switched from Windows around the time Windows 98 and I don't like that either. But I do think Windows is better. I personally can't do much of anything on any of those but I have noticed that one key difference is that a Windows user can show you how to actually do something and a Macbook user will just tell you that you can't do that on a Macbook.
the fun option? what the hell does that mean
>but I have noticed that one key difference is that a Windows user can show you how to actually do something and a Macbook user will just tell you that you can't do that on a Macbook.
So true. But macfags treat not being able to do something as something thats all exclusive, luxury and all that.
Siemens phones had a file manager. And Sony Ericsson phones since 2005 even let Java apps to access file system.
This is my experience. They actually sold me on the whole 'just werks' shit, made sense, explained its popularity, then I tried using a mac. Never again.
...
Yet on Android you need to download a third party app to get your file manager.
What did Googlel mean by this ?
>siemens
I remember having the Siemens S55 in 2002, it was so fucking ahead of its time. Like it only had 700KB of storage but you can transfer files via Infrared and Bluetooth.
It had an attachable VGA camera and it took around 5% of the battery and around 30 seconds just to charge the Xenon Flash.
Windows user here who never owned a Mac (but likes his iPhone).
Just out of curiosity, what are the things you can't do on a Mac but can do on Win?
>Yet on Android you need to download a third party app to get your file manager
Not on CM :^) . Also "documents" work as a basic file manager.
Aside from touchscreens.
There's a fuckton of programs that are on Windows that aren't on OSX.
Cut and Paste (it exists but the majority of the users don't know the shortcut or menu option)
Merging folders in Finder (if you copy a folder over another folder, it deletes all of the contents of the existing folder)
Apple is bad period
How many of you have had to put tape on Apple's charge cables and headphones?
when is upcoming apple event lads?
Used to use them - used to have an iMac and successive iPhones between 3 and 5.
I literally got cucked with their proprietary DRM iTunes formats and disastrous products - including the iPhone 4 antennagate shit. Lion operating system literally destroyed by iMac with bloat that I didn't want.
You also start noticing their cuckery on the phones - like you upgrade your operating system just before the release of a new phone, and all of a sudden your phone starts running slow.
Nope - never again. After years of cuckery I'm finally running Linux on my PC and android on my phone. It's more responsibility, but better control.
>they are actually not all that Apple's massive marketing machine makes them out to be nor anywhere near the pricing that Apple demands for them.
Disagree. Ipads in particular are very reasonably priced. Iphones a generation behind can be found very good prices on places like Amazon, Best Buy. There is an absolutely massive resale market on Amazon, refurbished and clearance section on apple.com,
if you can't wait for sales and buy something the day it fucking comes out for full retail price, then yeah.
otherwise, the "massive marketing machine" is a meme in itself. Apple to me is transparent, straightforward, and clear in their presentation. you get what you see
Dell XPS, Microsoft Surface, any devices in the "category" of something like a MBP you will find match it's price point accordingly. Overpriced yes, but to the degree that some chinkshit hoarders will have you believe, no.
fuck off shill
>iPads reasonably priced
Only if you buy them second hand.
