>6" 1080P IPS
>Full x86 Windows
>USB C, NFC, expandable storage, Phone capability, desktop dock
>Pretty much your average flagship android smartphone but x86

>designed for hospitals so it's $1,500 USD

God damn it

Is the market for a small 6" x86 tablet/phone that small?

Ausfag here the average xl new iPhone Android flagship is like $1000+ aud so it's not that unreasonable

But can it run Gentoo GNU/Linux?

A little bit thicc by smartphone standards but who gives a shit

Same processor series as the gpd win so yeah probably

dude, that would be sick to use. Does it have SIM card capabilities?

My galaxy S8 can transform into a computer by plugging it into a dock.

I already have full Windows apps on that.

Oh joy, because phones without windows/NSA weren't botnet enough for me.

Yeah i like Apple/NSA and Google/NSA more than this

my galaxy s8+ can transform into a vr headset i use to tunnel into my PC desktop and control it with keyboard and mouse to do actual work.

With android making your device a part of the Google botnet is optional at least.

Christ why don't you just hold a laptop to your head

Quality assurances or certifications for it to work in a hospital environment where sometimes it has to handle mission critical tasks that may mean life and death and the support for said hardware for prolonged hardware life cycles costs money.

>Why don't hospitals just use cheap chink clones for $200 bux that the chinks won't support 12 months from release because a new model comes along?

also HIPAA issues which definitely are violated by chink preinstalled spyware. Most android too. Intel ME likely does too.

>6"
They made this for hospitals? That's fucking useless.
8" is the smallest I would go for even just doing ward rounds.
10" is actually useful.

>That BEZEL
T H I X X

This actually looks pretty gr8. Cant wait for this to become the norm

Why is this not getting any attention desu?

>Fujitsu

Why the fuck would Fujitsu waste their time building a cheapy chinky windows 10 tablet.

>Hospitals

Ah.

Just get a slightly bigger cheapy-chinky tablet for a fraction of the price?

The extra heft probably feels worth it until it's out of date and slow.

make this thicc bitch quad core and thunderbolt 3, I will buy as many ass I can while jacking it furiously with an external gpu dock

>do actual work
No, you don't.

>X86 tablet
So you either run winblows 10, proprietary Android ROM, or some Linux DE with half assed tablet support.

there's several DEs that already have tablet/touch support right this second.

Just because gnome UI is designed for tablets doesn't mean X11 is. Multitouch barely works which makes typing virtually impossible. It's a little better under Wayland but no where near as usable as Android.

wait. after all this years and decades, GNU/ยง%%Linux still hasn't basic stuff like that?

Never really been any target device to develop for. There were dreams but all of them are shot cause of locked down hardware thus far. Would probly be polished up quick if there were such a thing.

Find a way to install Android on it and I'd consider it. It's worth nothing to me if it runs malware out of the box.

Except Netflix hates rooted Android devices.

Any hospital workers on Sup Forums.

How good are hospital monitors that get certified?

I seen some hospital grade monitors for like around ten thousand dollars.

Is it just a meme? Are those monitors better than average consumer monitor?

Or does getting certified just make hospital monitors more expensive?

Where do I buy one?

Perfect, finally a phone not as thin as my dick.

There's some Ultrasound monitors that are greyscale but has 7680x5000~ resolution.

It works if you sideload it.

>"thicc"
kill yourself

Damn, I wonder what kind of video game or black and white color film could take advantage of that.

Hell, just give me ubuntu with unity and I'm good.
