Previous This thread is for the discussion of NyaaPantsu (nyaa.pantsu.cat), a free (FOSS) torrent indexer. The aim of this project is to write a fully featured nyaa.se replacement in golang that anyone will be able to deploy locally or remotely.
>Why is Pantsu down/error 502? Most likely because the team is deploying changes. Wait for a bit and refresh the page. It should be mostly stable now.
News >Added api searching >Theme fix up is still ongoing but making progress >Scrapers in progress >Added untested reset api button >Now use svgs for icons >Mods have more mass edit tools >Filelist tree views properly work >Elastic search done but needs testing
Local Client: >An user made a local client in case the online sources are down: instructions and download at >nyanner.net qBittorrent plugin for Pantsu. >github.com/4chenz/pantsu-plugin
Can Sup Forums recommend a good seedbox service for deploying torrents? I am planning on creating an alternative to HS after all of that drama. Also, I would really appreciate if PantsuDev can explain the pic related.
Juan Ross
which is done ? are duplicate checks being implemented ?
Carter Mitchell
Scraper is done. The HS account was banned because when the spam started I was sleeping and then we didn't have the ability to reset api keys. anidex and nyaa.si scraper. At that time I didn't know he was serious about actually having it.
Ian Wood
Is there more to that chat? Also talk to Miao he's doing the same thing as you maybe you can coordinate your efforts or something
Brandon Hernandez
Good job by the way and please keep up the good work.
Parker Ross
>anidex and nyaa.si scraper.
Deployment when
Noah Morgan
>anidex and nyaa.si scraper. When are you going to use it?
Gabriel Perez
You're retarded if you think ewhal4 is with (((them))) just because he was there in HS IRC channel when HS hacked MangaTraders He only said one word 'Sure' and it doesn't even indicate that he was directly involved with them
Not related to NyaaPantsu but who wouldn't download a leaked database when someone is asking if anyone wants it? I downloaded the MT and AB leaks when they happened just to figure out in what way I was affected by them, since I used both sites.
Nicholas Brooks
>Responding to dotafag
Christopher Taylor
Other news that could be added to the next OP?
Mason Thomas
The mess pantsudev is doing with his site makes believe in his good faith about the HS chat. Even if he had those data he wouldn't know what to do with them kek
James Flores
Is everything ok on your end user?
Jace Wright
You won't filter HS from those scraper, right?
Andrew Thomas
Kek, I was going to reply to him as well but he deleted one of his posts blazingly fast.
Josiah Morgan
Before the shitposting starts reminder that if you want a feature faster or one that isn't considered necessary patches are always welcome. Just need to do one final test before deployment. Back then I didn't even know how to open it.
Asher Parker
No reason to.
Eli Campbell
I though someone from HS posted those data in public?
Alexander Rogers
>turning down an offer for a (((free))) database of any kind Data is the most valuable asset of our century. Even if you don't know how to use it, just store it. One day you will know what to do with it. For now, just get as much as you can.
Julian Johnson
Yeah they leaked it all because it was "fun" (some kind of fun, jeez)
Asher Flores
Should have hoard it instead. Resource with limited access have higher value.
John Carter
Probably they did it just 'because they can'. Same reason why they spammed 50 pages of pantsu with garbage data. They warned the admin, he didn't patch the hole, they showed how much destructive was the problem if left unfixed. I don't condone this behaviour, but this is the internet, and this is how it works, like it or not.
Joshua Rogers
>AniDex and nyaa.si scrapers are done >Working on ensuring pantsu uptime >Possible AniDB integration >Elastic search in progess >Theme fix up is still ongoing
Any other news?
Kevin Sullivan
>They warned the admin They didn't warn anyone in either case of MangaTraders or Pantsu.
Kevin Clark
Everyone was caught off guard. I wonder who could be behind this post
Bentley Allen
ES is pretty done but has been getting optimized. We have been trying to improve our uptime as much as possible. Over 90% now. CSRF protection. Someone is working on anidb integration Think like shanaproject. SEO improvements. Akuma adding in auto page refresh for users who wanted that. Various bug fixes.
John Baker
How is this shit still going?
si won, pantsu lost, get over it
Nathaniel Hill
t. the pen
Anthony Rodriguez
Okay thank you.
Asher Nguyen
The d2g shitposter is back!
Dylan Bell
>MangaTraders I don't know about this one, but I'm pretty sure they did with pantsu (he can correct me otherwise). Their mistake was doing the shit while they knew PantsuDev was asleep and couldn't fix it. That was indeed a low move.
Charles Sanchez
This thread have a different purpose, did you not informed by your superior?
Jace Phillips
PantsuDev have had several days to fix it.
Jace Hughes
>but I'm pretty sure they did with pantsu No, they didn't warn them at all. That's why they never posted any IRC logs or anything like that. Because it never happened. They were lying.
Henry Torres
Mean to quote
Jacob Clark
Well, even if you announce that you'll rob a certain bank a few days in advance, robbing a bank is still a dick move, no?
Joshua Diaz
You will get your smashed into a table if you ever try to rob the (((banks))) though.
And this is the answer to that post you linked >a few days in advance If you want to play fair, you give the vendor 90 days to fix the bug before going public. As I already stated, it was a dick move from them, no doubt.
Gavin Williams
He's not even saying there's some sort of vulnerability.
Ayden Morgan
That's not a warning. That's someone testing an exploit and trying to brush it off so he can take advantage of it later when everyone is sleeping.
Carson Hughes
>post you linked wrong link, I meant
Joshua Smith
>i was just testing lol
William Jackson
See
Jason Barnes
They should have been skeptic about it
>He is testing his rss feed guise >His test torrents gets pushed into our scraper >Lets do absolutely nothing
Dominic Green
Yes, they should have been skeptical. That doesn't make it a warning. He intentionally tried to disguise his motives there. That's not a warning it's a coverup.
Julian Anderson
That's only a part of the log and it wasn't me who posted it then, so I can't tell what was further. But at the second link snowfag definitely says pantsu devs knew about the vuln. So anyone can make his own preferred conclusions.
Noah Watson
Considering they were all blindsided by it I think it's safe to say they didn't know about it.
Justin Hall
>That's not a warning it's a coverup.
Brody Taylor
>snowfag
You mean the retard who defended the spam? Yes, let's take his word for it.
Henry Gonzalez
>throws shit into your neighbor house via broken window >"i was just testing my shit throwing skill lol whoops" >starts throwing tons of shit into your neighbor house again because they haven't fixed their broken window >"loool your fault for not fixing your window lol"
Henry Stewart
There's nothing /x/ about someone trying to get someone else to ignore the fact that they just found an exploit.
Nathaniel Clark
To be fair, nobody expect the neighbor to throw tons of shit after the first case especially if you don't know much about the neighbor.
Tyler Young
I'd just like to take a moment to affirm anti-Semitism.
Brandon Campbell
I'd just like to take a moment to affirm snowfag's racism.
Josiah Wright
>anti-Semitism The jews and their made up word. Is there any for anti-niggers, anti-asian, anti-bourgeois, anti-capitalism, etc.?
Benjamin Carter
Here, I did this just for (you)
Jeremiah Barnes
...
Jace Anderson
>ES is pretty done but has been getting optimized. I assume this one fixed the k-on issue and shit, right?
Jackson Gonzalez
>10. One must either affirm or reject anti-Semitism. He who defends the Jews harms his own people. One can only be a Jewish lackey or a Jewish opponent. Opposing the Jews is a matter of personal hygiene. research.calvin.edu/german-propaganda-archive/angrif03.htm
Was Goebbles a Jewish plant, like PantsuDev, aka ewhal4?
Brody Richardson
Yes.
Jaxson Sullivan
>You'll never get to watch anime with Adolf Hitler.
Mason Rodriguez
That line must symbolize the pantsu's huge response times to serve requests, amirite? It can't be the popularity because it's the other way round, right?
Andrew Stewart
From what I've read on FAQ, I concluded that secure trips change with IP adresses, right? If you were to ever reset your router, how can we verify your identity?
Ryder Diaz
I really think the github and irc links should figure on the site header to show that it's still in development, nobody gives a fuck about the FAQ.
Zachary Flores
#blasted
Sebastian Ortiz
No, secure tripcodes are based off a secret key on the Sup Forums servers. They're always the same, they're just more secure because people can't brute force them without knowing that key, unlike normal tripcodes.
It's pantsu's new scrapper, isn't it? Does Sup Forums test anything before putting it into production?
Also >the very first torrent in the list is from HS snowfag The irony
Jack Morris
Are these: perhaps, the result of the new scraper?
Anthony Jackson
I verified this tripcode on irc when I generated it. Still have access to my non-secure trip as well. Yes that's exactly it. Working through some minor bugs.
John James
Can't be, there's one doki shit in sukebei.
Henry Evans
I get 'No files found? That doesn't even make sense!' when I try to view the filelist.
Luke Kelly
test it on the dev site before using it on the main site for god sake
Aiden Fisher
>test I never heard of this word before, what does it mean?
Xavier Kelly
Motherfucking hell, could you at least post scraped torrents from a dedicated account and not from an anonymous one?
William Barnes
>[02:22] (@ewhal4) it's still buggy >[02:22] (@ewhal4) working through it >[02:22] (konopelko) how about testing it first? >[02:22] (@ewhal4) >testing >[02:22] (@Alucard0134) >go
Actually why do they even have blue? Even nyaa.si doesn't have blue lmao. Who is the cartel now?
Jordan Reyes
>Summer School (Original) Didn't you get it?
Mason Davis
I always envy those people that can deploy without testing first.
Meanwhile, I'm testing my code every time I add a couple of lines and putting debug message every 3 lines or so.
Nolan Fisher
>[02:25:14] sukebei.pantsu.cat/view/2307638 >[02:25:17] >A+ >[02:25:21] who is the cartel now >[02:25:31] also this Unknown shit still >[02:25:32] ayy >[02:26:54] they do A+ cocksucking now? >[02:26:55] nice
Cartel reactions are funny.
Wyatt Miller
>Who is the cartel now? We've been over this.
Henry Gonzalez
>Goddammit PantsuDev I unironically like his style. Deploying changes on live server. He's got balls of steel. He's got a long way to become a pro, but his attitude shows he's afraid of nothing, while a lot of people just sit and wait to have their anime fed into their hard disk.
Charles Cook
>he doesn't know what the sysops do
Camden Reyes
So, if ewhal is cartel as well, we might just use .si, like, there is no point, right?
