Holy fuck what happened here?

holy fuck what happened here?
how does this happen?

considering it just booted up, it's probably dust

Did you not see the flames?

you can see the light from the fire tho.
the card burned up

those are just leds

My wild guess is bad power supply cable. That or someone rigged it somehow.

Bait as fuck. That's VERY blatantly a burnt up card.

it's what you deserve if you buy a Fermi card
welcome to the 2nd source of the housefire meme, the first was intel netburst

You can see a jump on the power pins. Probably modded to do that.

Who puts a smoke machine in the're pc?

It vapes

>Letting out the graphics genie

Didn't have enough air getting to it? Would explain it saying fuck it and having a flameout

The light didn't flicker and the smoke was a clean white...

My fake senses are tingling.

Damn, everyone knows your not suppose to let the smoke out, you can never get it back in.

I don't see an issue, this is just normal NVidia cooling.

...

The terminator AI is waking up.

>nvidia
found your problem

Obviously used cables from another PSU that weren't the correct pinout.

>holy fuck what happened here?
>how does this happen?
Multiple caps blew out from being overloaded.

This would be my guess

It's real. Look at the solder joints where the PSU is plugged in. You can see electricity arcing.

Just what I needed.
>wake up
>turn on PC
>burnt smell, POST code beeping
>immediately turn off PC
>visually checking motherboard - nothing
>opening PSU and checking - nothing, except the main cable is discolored - burnt marks?
>remove everything and motherboard/mb + RAM/ mb + RAM + SSD work

I should buy a new PSU, right?

Looks like a short in the AUX power for the video card. You can see one of the solder joints glow cherry red as the machine powers up.

Usually power supplies would automatically drop power before this happens bu-
