i'd go the ultrawide but i hate 1080p monitors

t. dual 27" 1440p

triple 1440p 144hz for games
triple 4k 60hz for everything else

ultrawide is a meme

1x 2560x1440 144hz IPS
1x 1920x1200 IPS secondary monitor

>the year 2017
>building a gaymen PC

lul you're 5 years too late buddy

3x 1080

Unless you're one of those special sneauflakes that NEEEEEDs 4K because they press their noses against the screen.

When did he say gaming pc?

How about 3 of these? 1440p

Would a 1080ti be able to run that?

Ultrawides are a meme. Enjoy black bars on any full screen media.

Can't tell if you're just acting retarded or not.

Is there anyone who would use the same window on multiple screens? like have the bezels in the middle of the movie/game and shit?

No.

21:9 allows you to crop the letterboxing on movies and let's you view a movie the way god intended movies to be watched, using all of the real estate on your screen.

Best option is to get a 34" ultrawide 1440p@60hz. If you want, a secondary monitor could also be used on the side for other shit, just make sure it's no more than 1080p otherwise you'll be resizing windows all day. Better yet, get a vertical monitor as a secondary.

one 16:10 monitor. anything else is harmful for productivity.

>Not being used to it after using 16:10 for years

>like have the bezels in the middle of the movie/game and shit?
some games and shit support it pretty well

with triple monitor you have all the important shit happening on the centre one so you aim and shit like normal but can support a much wider field of view using the two side monitors

thought it was always the domain of racing/flightsim autists though, for shooters and shit it's easier to go single ultrawide

weird that a triple 1080p setup is cheaper than one ultrawide

I guess you'll need to look for reviews/benchmarks that specifically tests the 1080Ti on a triple 1440 layout.

The display brand/type has no influence on the GPU's performance.

one 1440p 144 Hz 24" and a thinkpad

For that money you should avoid those meymes and get a legit 30"+ 4K ips.

Bought a Microboard 34' ultrawide for $600 in december and I think the money was worth it.

stop making threads outside your containment thread

How about 16:10 with 4:5 to the side?

one 4:5 is ok. OR 16:10. more than one monitor is horrible!

Every PC build on Sup Forums is gayming build. Sup Forums stands for Sup Forumsaymes newfag. Just look at the amount of people recommending 144Hz monitors, what do you think they need 144Hz for? Coding? Work? It's for all for gayming. This board is nothing buy college children who spend 12 hours a day playing overwatch and making GPU threads on Sup Forums and 3 people who have been here for way too long.

6 1080p monitors

Don't get a ultrawide & don't get 1080p.

Get 2 1440p(2k) screens or 1 large 4k screen. You will not be disappointed. I bought my asus 1440p 27" 75hz for $220.

user GET 2K SCREENS.

There's a 27" monitor I want to get. It's like love at first sight. B-but it's $400. Is that a good price for a quality monitor? What are average monitor prices? Anything like logical increments or pcpartpicker where I can just sort through monitors? Search for specific specs I want?

Nevermind, I guess pcpartpicker would work.
