I'm 24 and my first computer was the Dell Dimension 2400. It has a 2.4ghz Celeron(p4), 256MB ddr2, 40gb hdd, no gpu, and a CRT.
I got an insane amount of use out of it. I took it apart and put it back together a couple of times in my early teens. I also upgraded the RAM and tried to upgrade the GPU but ended up with one just as weak as the igpu. I learned how to install Windows XP with all the drivers and shit. Then went on to install ubuntu, fedora, and gentoo.
