Why is this happening? I tried changing the sub encoding from 1252 to UTF-8 in VLC, but that didn't change anything. Is there a better encoding language I should use?

You're watching eromanga and your computer is rebelling since it's smarter than you are
1. Is restoring an Android backup using adb supposed to take over 5 hours?
>it's still going
2. The backup image is only like 3 GB. Is it normal for the backup to be significantly smaller than the actual system (~10 GB IIRC)?
What happened to Sup Forums's archive?
I don't think that's the issue here, though I have been looking for a better media player, so what's the most Sup Forums approved one?
You're the one who recognized it, you must like it too if you made it to episode 9 :^)
>adb
Why didn't you use Odin?
Yep, your computer is definitely smarter than you are. It's pretty easy to recognise the art style.
Do you have an actual answer?
i think odin is only used for samsung devices, i might be wrong
It might be, I have a Samsung so I wouldn't really know
I don't use a Samsung.
yeah it's for samsung
So my porn usb's contents all turned into ".PFILE". Any idea what could cause this and how to fix? I need to jerk off. I recently reformatted it from a FAT32 to NFTS but transferred all the files to a external hard drive before I reformatted. Could this be the cause?
Reposting.
I have a bunch of .mkv files. They contain multiple audio and subtitle tracks. I want to remove everything but the Japanese audio and the English subtitles, what is the best way to go about doing this without re-encoding and worsening the video quality?
I mostly want to do this because MPC won't default to the right subs because the Signs/Songs are also designated as English and is preferred in the other.
Ideally the program should be able to do this in batches.
I built a computer to act as a driving sim. Which would look better, a 1080p @ 144hz or a 1440p @ 144hz with settings that would allow it to build up that sort of framerate?
Looks like .PFILES are from microsofts built-in encryption shit I used and forgot to take off before I transferred to new PC. So is there any hope in getting these files back or am I SOL and have to start my porn stash over again?
Use mkvtoolnix and set which track you want as the default.
1. Doesn't that remux it?
2. Isn't that only one video at a time?
hi guys, i got my work laptop reinstalled, because they decided to change domain and log-in information. It's windows 10, but I lost a very neat little functionality, and I finds its lack disturbing:
I have This PC / Explorer pinned to the taskbar at position 1, and I used to be able to press WinKey + 1 to open a new "This PC" window. But not anymore, it just toggles the current one - max/minimize. It still works on my home computer tho. I didn't find any related setting, nor does anyone knows anything at work and can help me.
Any input appreciated :)
You're only moving the contents to another container. It doesn't (shouldn't) do anything to the video encode itself.
You can send jobs to a queue and run the batch after you're done setting it up.
Whats the recommended iso file handler for windows? Is there a better alternative to daemon tools?
Need a new laptop.
Will be carrying around so I don't want that thinkpad bullshit. I already have a workstation for home
I'll probably use it for watching shows, doing a little programming and editing shitty music. I don't need anything really powerful, just something to get the above done with relative ease.
My budget is around ~$200-400.
win+e is the hotkey for a new explorer window.
There's probably a registry hack somewhere to make win+ make a new instance but I think they've designed it to be used as a quick switch rather than "new instance"

>phone didn't charge when it was plugged in and died

>almost every app crashed on startup, including apps in the background like google play services
>for whatever reason decide to format and flash stock firmware
>go to root again, must have messed up somewhere
>can only boot into recovery mode, download mode, or bootloader
>regular boot just loops
>won't let me flash stock firmware anymore
>at a complete loss as to what to do
What the fuck am I supposed to do? I've tried googling but all I ever get is unrelated bullshit, or I get results for every other HTC phone, when I have an HTC 10.
oh yeah, totally forgot about that. I was using the + number + "this pc" because it opens the pc directly. recently discovered the setting in folder options for which thing to open - this pc or the quick access.
This solves my issue, thanks!
Any anons use syncthing?
I'm thinking of using it to keep some project files available on a server I'll just ssh into for when I need to do work remotely. Wondering if it's something any of you would recommend or not, I'm looking into it now
this just popped in windows defender
HackTool:Win32/Passview
Is it safe to allow?
Awesome, thanks.
Is a computer being slow usually an HDD issue? If I were to replace my HDD on my old laptop with something else like an SSD, it will definitely get faster, right? It's never some other hardware issue?
I guess I should mention that a git setup wouldn't do much for me here since I'm thinking more along the lines of rarely needing to edit, but having current files viewable for work and committing and pushing on every single small change is too much work that I don't need really need version control.

Yes or no? Any better brands?
wtf is a cup of greens? Is 400-500 grams enough to be eating each day?
I'm getting internet problems but only on on PC. I'm pretty sure it's affecting outgoing traffic the most but it is also fucking with downloads.
The best example I can give are that this page was blank for 5 seconds when loading and then everything appeared instantly. In online games everyone else is able to damage my character and are moving normally from my perspective, but I am unable to move normally and will rubber band. Loading the Captcha here took like 5 seconds and will fail repeatedly other times.
I have tried changing DNS and checking for malware with no change. I am 90% this isn't an ISP problem since other devices are able to stream at 720p whereas this PC will load infinitely unless I pick 144p.
*only on one pc
what do I do with my raspi besides retropie/pi-hole/znc?
what the easiest way to bypass Australia's torrent site blocking? Would prefer to not pay for a VPN
Acoustic guitar or Electric acoustic guitar?
Will mainly be for me so no recording.
do u prefer the sound of guitar
or the sound of loud speaker?
for soothing music and wooing babes, i use acoustic with nylon strings for finger strumming.
picks make ting noise esp on metal strings. disgusting.
I like looking at custom pc's on ebay and their sometimes hilarious prices, this seems alright though
You can probably just browse the site with tor
how would you find this gallery through a search?
e-hentai.org
the title is "Denise Milani in lava rocks set" yet when i try to search for denise milani it's not included in the results
idk how this works but it says
>Visible: No (Expunged)
so i guess it has been removed from the search results
>vertical
Just make sure you don't install it horzontally and you'll be fine
can I get the current version of pic related? this one is from 2015
Can someone tell me what can be the cause of this? Initially the monitor had blue vertical stripes along it
I have a few public networks near my cottage, but the signal isn't strong enough for every phone, and I'd like to use them to connect to internet and share on my other devices.
Is there some routerlike device that can be used for this instead of using external antenna that would be connected to a router?
Sorry if it's too confusing.
Probably a failing video card, or possibly bad memory. Run memtest86 or windows memory diagnostic to check memory.
Why does my Windows 10 botnet have a constant 100% disc usage?
superfetch, indexing, maintenance, malware
look at the resource monitor to check what's using it.
it might be windows update
but the chances are high it's cortana
Anyone here using a as rock b350 pro4 with a ryzen 1600 on Linux? Have you encountered any problems so far?
What recovery you have?
Did you wipe cache?
Two SDXC and a SDHC aren't being read by my Switch. I blew out the port and wiped it and the cards and formatted them and they work on my PC and 3DS.
Should I give up and send it in for repairs or is there a magical fix?
Is there something like lm-sensors' fancontrol, but for Windows?
fancontrols uses PWM output to control fans that don't have a dedicated PWM input. It does that by modulates the voltage across the fans.
How do I view Sup Forums without being tracked?, without buying a gold pass?
My VPN(s) are range banned here for some reason...is there any alternatives?
I need some help my computer has been acting strangly i thonkbit might be malware.
My disk usage is at 100%
My computer is all slow now.
Also ive noticed that programs open and random keypresses are pressed.
Im currently scanning with malware bytes.
Should i reinstall windows if nothing turns up?
How do I install Win7 on a new hp laptop that doesn't support it?
Original post:
What do you mean the bios can't see the win7 installer? Like it doesn't react to the USB? What processor are we talking about? I couldn't use my keyboard when I tried to install win7 on my new ryzen system but the bios at least saw the USB with the installer. I fixed it by using the win7 USB patcher released by asrock.
>What do you mean the bios can't see the win7 installer?
BIOS doesn't see the Win7 installation, after installing from PXE.
>Like it doesn't react to the USB?
Before resorting to PXE, BIOS did see the USB installer, but the installer wouldn't into USB3 support (even after throwing drivers into boot.wim & install.wim), resulting in the installer not seeing itself after booting. 10/10 retarded, but that's how it went. Unable to install from USB, hence PXE got me a little further.
>What processor are we talking about?
i5-7200U
You could try to find a mobomanufacturer that offers a solution to give win7 usb3.0 support (like asrock but for kaby lake CPUs) and use their solution by patching the iso. I tried to add the drivers on my own too and it didn't work. No idea if that works though.
Yeah, thanks for the tip, but I don't think that'll solve my problem. The Win7 installer not having USB3 support is a moot point if I can install from PXE. I know actual installed Win7 will have USB3 support.
The issue is that after installing Win7 (from PXE only so far, and I don't see why it would be different from USB install media) BIOS claims there is no OS on the hard drive.
Does someone have videos of someone explaining the source code of open source software from A to Z?
If the bios can't see your grub maybe repairing it will help. Did you try booting into a live USB of Debian/Ubuntu and repairing grub?
does it behave differently with windows 8.1 iso?
Why not use onetab ?
BIOS saw GRUB if I installed it first (with debian).
If I installed Win7 first (to avoid complaining about GPT), then BIOS doesn't see GRUB. Booting "Super Grub2 Disk" live iso lets me see GRUB & boot debian, but won't boot Win7 without rebooting, and putting me back to square one.
Haven't tried it, but at that point of damage control I'd throw 10 in anyway & start mopping. I read that hp is, by policy, disallowing anything older than 10.
Bump
How do I brows Sup Forums anonymously w/out being tracked
The use of scrapers, bots, or other automated posting or downloading scripts is prohibited. Users may also not post from proxies, VPNs, or Tor exit nodes.
Then I can't help you, sorry. But it sounds like your bootloader is fucked in some way. Is bios legacy mode enabled? I'm out of ideas honestly. At this point I'd probably go for 8.1 and install classic shell before putting up with the pile of shit that is win10. Or try the whole procedure again. Maybe something went wrong along the way.
>I'd throw 10 in anyway
8.1 > 7 > 10
thats why I am asking, 8 is improvement in everything on 7 except the start menu and thats fixed with classic shell
while with 10 you lose the feeling of being in control of your windows, uh here let me download 5 games for you, lets update and restart whenever, lets do annual update and reset associations to MS preferred..
i've been having ads on youtube for the past few days in almost all the vids even tho I have uBlock. what is going on?
>bios legacy mode enabled?
Yep. Legacy boot enabled, secure boot disabled.
>go for 8.1 and install classic shell
>8.1 > 7 > 10
Alright, trips confirms I gotta try this.
Will report back.
Thanks for your time & words, Sup Forumsents.
I have a i5-4670k (without any applied OC yet) and a GTX670. If I upgrade the GPU with a let's say GTX1080ti or any modern high tier graphics card, would it suffer heavy bottlenecking?Would overclocking the CPU help in any significant manner?
If not, what would be a sensible GPU upgrade?
>bottlenecking
there's that word again
>would it suffer heavy bottlenecking
Depends on the game/workload.
>Would overclocking the CPU help
Almost always, yes. Anyway, why'd you spend on a K to leave it at stock clocks?
I came to this thread because I know that I don't know much. Why are you mean?
Because I thought it would be easy to overclock a CPU, but all the guides I've found are either too specific (i.e. they tell you exactly how to set some value, without giving you any method) or too technical (i.e. I don't understand them). I actually regret buying that CPU and spending the money on a massive heatsink.
Hey guys, I'm about upgrade my C drive with a new SSD.
Since I'm working with a laptop that uses msata its port,
I'm thinking that I should use a usb to msata adapter, to
migrate the OS (win10) to the new SSD. After migrating,
I'll then proceed to replace the old drive, with the new
one and then use the old SSD as a portable USB drive.
Does this sound good Sup Forums or is something gonna go
wrong in this plan of mine, and should REEvaluate
my life.
So you got a heatsink too? Seriously, get involved with the OC dude. It's not hard at all, I put my 2.4GHz stock Q6600 on 3.9GHz just tinkering & self-teaching.
Grab prime95 or some other CPU-stressing benchmark tool, establish a baseline performance level for stock clocks.
Look up your RAM timings (usually just on the sticker on the side) and set that exactly in BIOS (not auto).
Increase multiplier, reboot & run prime95 for a few minutes. Repeat until it crashes, increase Vcore a bit, repeat until Vcore is at whatever ark.intel.com says is max for your CPU.
When you find as fast as you can run your CPU (keep an eye on temp max ~80°C after a few minutes' full load, else reduce Vcore) start to increase FSB, but reduce multiplier to keep same CPU frequency. Add a little NB voltage if necessary, max is probly in your mobo manual. Every iteration, make sure you can boot & run prime95 for a bit. When you think you're happy with a tune, run prime95 overnight to make sure it's stable.
If you make small incremental steps, and google each setting, RTFM, you'll be fine.
Atleast spare your computer. You need to kill youself ASAP but before you do that respect the computer and erase its hard drive
I want to stay 100% off the grid, practically invulnerable to hacking, spying etc. Recommend me some 3 OS I could try.
Looks like you gotta either jtag it if it isn't even starting up or flash the original android tar file (it's gonna be huge)
plan 9 or haiku
and a faraday cage
put in new ssd, install fresh system and fresh shit
use old ssd in that usb adapter to copy back stuff you want
What's the best extension for Firefox cookie control? webextension preferred so i don't have to change in a few months
you have no idea what off the grid means moron
anyway, snowdens favorite - tails got version 3.0 recently
The cheapest 65" IPS monitors I can find around my area are (ordered by cheapness):
* Samsung DM65E
* LG 65SE3B
* LG 65SE3KB
* Benq ST650K
* Philips BDL6520EL
Can't really call myself a hardcore gamer or anything, but are any of these worth it or should I go the meme botnet tier and just buy a 4K SmartTV?
It's a screen for the living room I'm looking for.
So I've had 8GB of RAM for a while, is it worth it to get another stick of 8GB?
Also whats the difference between DDR3 and DDR4?
umatrix
Oh shit the Samsung one is TN, not IPS. Maybe it's worth it anyway, the fuck do I know.
thx
I can't connect to the internet without a router, if I plug in the cable directly to pc and go to any website ISP window pops up and asks to register new device. I changed my computer's mac address to the same as my router's but it still won't let me, what do?
have two ssds on laptop, how much battery would i save by removing one?
How often should you upgrade a motherboard?
Would I be able to activate a fresh install version of windows 10 using a win7 product key,
because I already upgraded from windows 7.
yes
