And since I'm in Germany I know that I'm protected by law and that I can ask cops and teachers for help but LGBT+ people in Russia have like no protection at all.

Complete bullshit. There is no such law that dictates the police or any other public service can't help gay people. Gays have the same rights all the other people have. They get medical attention, police protection etc.

If you ban that, then anything that anyone could perceive as offensive — because words are not offensive themselves, it's only because they are perceived to be offensive by the offended party — should also be banned. But since the offended party decides whether or not something is offensive, and since no one can tell anyone what they should or should not be offended by, all speech must be banned? Doesn't make any sense.

As for physical violence against homos: this is illegal but has nothing to do with the sexuality. It is illegal because it's physical violence. Punching a gay person should be treated no different from punching any person at all. Sexuality is irrelevant in this regard.
