This is the most valid and logical division of continents ever conceived...

This is the most valid and logical division of continents ever conceived. Perhaps you could argue Eurasia should be a single continent and it'd still be valid, but for everything else this is 100% true and accurate.

Greenland should be a continent
Eurasia should be one thing
There's 2 Americas

>Greenland should be a continent

Wrong, there are 4 american continents.

South America
Central America
North America
North Pole

oh cool, cool, really interesting

...

Hmm. Actually, 10/10, Bro.

Madagascar should be a continent too.

Canada and USA should be different to Latin America.

Why is that big continent split into three

...

>ireland not a continent
fuck off mate

If Europe is severed, why not asia minor too?
As in turkey+levant+arabia?

You guys need to stop attaching yourselves to us to try and make people subconsciously associate you with our success. You can't say that EUROPE is a different continent when their border is just vaguely across some mountains, or you'd have to say India is its own continent. The isthmus of panama is so narrow that North and South America are different continents, and there's a damn canal that split it anyway. Don't even start with "b-but it's man-made!" Yeah, so is the Suez Canal. If you make "America" a continent, you get the hideously massive Afro-Eurasia as well.

If you look at the map you'd realize it's not only referring to "continuous landmass" because oceania has new zealand and all those little islands on it, Europe has Iceland and America has Greenland.

Australia is the continent, Oceania is a region. Nearby islands can be considered part of the same continent, and some definitions can be vague when including islands, but two gigantic fucking landmasses separated by an isthmus with a canal are certainly not the same continent.

>this is what some unitedstatians UNIRONICALLY believe

>using unitedstatesians while speaking english

Suicidarte, Repúblicano.

>two gigantic fucking landmasses separated by an isthmus with a canal are certainly not the same continent.
>separated
They're actually joined together by said isthmus, though. And that's the reason said landmasses are one continent.

I like the part where you hypocritically consider Africa and Eurasia to be different, but America is somehow one.

That's mostly due to socio-cultural differences. I told you before i'm not just taking the bare definition of "continuous landmass" like the case with Oceania.
Africa is definitely sand of another bag when compared to eurasia.

Then you're not using the right definition at all, or else at least India and the Middle East would be their own continents. And we have a much different culture than you anyway.

Glad we got that cleared up.

2 Americas, that makes sense unless you want to consider Africa a part of Eurasia
Eurasia is a thing, there is literally no reason for there to be a difference other than white/non-white in which case Detroit should get its own continent.

>That's mostly due to socio-cultural differences
There are 2 Americas, then.

Different parts of the world have different opinions.
You say there's SA and NA, that Australia is a continent and Oceania a region.
Here in Spain we're taught that there's only one America and that the continent is Oceania and Australia a part of it.

Different parts of the world teach different things. And most of the things taught about continents are illogical or just plain incorrect.

>eurasia
we lad

Iceland should be part of America though

>South america as Colombia
Huh?

so that the new world is named in honor of Amerigo Vespucci and Columbus

While i do agree Colombo was cucked by Vespucci it's already too late to fix it, the spanish crown dun' goofed.
At least Bolivar didn't let his name go to waste using it on our country.

south america was widely called colombia until around 150 years ago

>At least Bolivar didn't let his name go to waste using it on our country.

so instead he gets associated to Bolivia.

...

australia is asolutely its own continent fuck off Everyone

You got it wrong, it actually was the USA that used the columbia first. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbia_(name)

We were called Nueva Granada until Bolivar decided to use Colombia. Here the name "colombia" only became a thing in the 1800s thanks to Francisco de Miranda but was only used for Gran Colombia, not all of south america.

>This is the most valid and logical division of continents ever conceived.
No, it isn't. You're using the channels inconsistently - Panama as "not dividing continents" and Suez as "dividing continents".

So pick your poison:
America, Afro-Eurasia, Oceania, Antarctica
North America, South America, Africa, Eurasia, Oceania

By the way. ISLANDS ARE NOT IN FUCKING CONTINENTS. ISLANDS ARE FUCKING ISLANDS. NZ, UK and Ireland besides Gibraltar, Iceland, Madagascar ARE NOT IN CONTINENTS.

>inb4 people try to complicate the definition with stupid shit as culture, race and tectonic plates

As if "is Australia large enough?" wasn't a problem...

>Colombia for South America
We already have problems with USA vs. The Americas. Don't make it even more annoying.
