I romanticize Imperial Rome, Ancient Egypt, Imperial China, and the Mayans. Any culture that created massively impressive structures out of stone to stand the test of time is worthy of admiration imo. I wish we still built things to both impress and last these days instead of cardboard suburb houses and glass/steel rectangles
