This has the basic scientific underpinning of a horoscope. The women that made this test were not psychologists and they based it on the ideas of Carl Jung who based his whole work on the idea that one could base it's whole existence on astrology, talking with the dead and other hogwash.
You are going to take a test that uses false dichotomy's and which will change based on the mood you are in when you take it or the time. Which leads you to conclude you are a "type" which can do certain things with no scientific basis besides tea leave watching (look at the hilarious typification of famous people in ). And then there are people that go around saying "oh intj cannot live with extj" which is just the same kind of unbased thing contained within that what we call horoscopes.
