Hey Sup Forums, visiting and have a question.
Here in the United States there's sometimes a lot of difference between people in urban and rural areas. Here people often dismay that the state they live in passes law and creates government programs that focus on the most highly populated areas, funneling tax money into those places. Often people in New York state will complain, saying they'd prefer it if NYC became its own state. New York City has a whole set of unique issues, but areas outside of NYC feel like they are footing the bill with taxes to fix problems in a place they don't live in. Same with many people in Nevada preferring if Las Vegas were its own state and many other states as well.
Does this sort of thing happen in Japan, or Japanese prefectures?
