Jajaja you can't make this shit up

No thanks, la.

Nah, they can't. I'll be very surprised if even Scotland remains despite the mood. The EU have made it very clear, too: this is happening. (Despite the EU traditions of repeating referendums that return the wrong answer.)

How long have you got left in the EU? I read that it's somewhere between 2 years, but that the brexit will be much quicker.

It's likely that we will leave by invoking Article 50 which is the "proper way" to leave. David Cameron said during his resignation speech that he will leave invoking Article 50 up to his successor (October most likely) but there's pressure from the EU to do it now: theguardian.com/politics/2016/jun/25/eu-emergency-talks-brexit-berlin

Once that has started it's a settlement-negotiation process, but you can't "stop it". 2 years after it's invoked we leave the EU. Soo.. realistically 24-27 months, although it can be extended by the remaining-27 if agreed amongst themselves.

I really, really hope this is a wakeup call for the EU and you guys manage to get your shit together. I don't want to see the break up of the EU at all, despite my misgivings with it.

t. (shocked) leaver that loves Europe (not the EU)

SOON

I don't see a referendum ever being called with a unionist party plurality. Even if moderates warm to the idea I doubt a break from tribal voting would occur unless the place is well and truly fucked in the aftermath.

whats she on about now
this tb h. and we have to remember all the "unionists with a small u" catholics (read: traitors for bennies)

forgot pic

Scotland is actually good unlike Ireland this would be a travesty
