Nyaa hosts mainly japanese content with a bit of korean and chinese ones, it's mostly asian stuff You won't find western stuff on it, Samurai Jack is western stuff as it is a cartoon

You won't find western stuff on nyaa, If you want to download anime then either download a batch or each individual episode. then choose the resolution you want (480p, 720p, 1080p)

Not really, you can always add stuff like resolution or BD/BDrip(to get blu ray releases) or such, and you can select categories as to avoid getting unrelated content and only getting say foreign-translated anime, but there always is a lot of releases of the same contents by different groups You can always search for show + episode number to narrow it down

Unofficial batch means it's a torrent that contains multiple episodes that were released from a certain group, but it's not the group that is releasing the batch: it's an user that bothered to download them and put them together
