FUCK THIS FUCKING SHIT

FUCK THIS FUCKING SHIT.

people have stuffs to do. some people are in urgency when they turn their windows computer on. not everyone turns on their computer when they're not doing anything a.k.a ready to play playerunknown battleground.

Just use LTSB version

Works on my GNU/systemd/Linux machine.

>I am slightly inconvenienced by my use of the most secure OS in the history of mankind
k.

yeah but then nothing else works in linux except some fucking nice looking rainmeters.

>most secure
d-don't rush, user

>when they turn their windows computer on
Updates are installed when you shut down.
If you need to restart there is an option to restart without installing updates.
Nice try though.

lmao cucked

3 or 4 years later and we're still seeing fucks complain about auto updates. So seriously, how at this point have you not heard about it.

>Current year
>Using w*doze
You deserved this

you underestimate the ignorance of the average reddi--- er, 4channer

No such problem on my MacBook Pro with Touchbar(TM)

i updated and shut down when i left work for home.
Come back next day and have to sit through an hour and a half of windows update. So much for productivity

Just make the switch

You only have to pay a subscription service... For an OS..

Nah, OpenBSD doesn't have this kind of problem.

Windows
>People dont update their computers and end up infected
>We force updates so they they dont blame us for their incompentence

Linux
>we dont give a shit about you

sudo pacman -Syu :)))))))))))

What. Rainmeter doesn't have a Linux version. Did you just think that was ricing was rainmeter?

What do you do with it (besides coding) ?

Welcome to the master race

>not doying -Syyu

This meme again. Learn to set some time to update you tech illiterate fuck. Windows updates usually come out like every Tuesday on the second week of the month.

>not using windows 7

>boot up Linux
>"Hey man, I got 4 updates for your system. Just install em whenever you're ready"
>Updates install in less than 2 minutes. >Feelsgoodman.jpg

pacman is the worst package manager.

And at the same time, it's the greatest arcade game.

>knowing when updates are released
That speaks for itself, user.
When are you 10 cucks going to admit you have been memed into the worst user experience ever created?

My Windows Server 2016 Standard don't have this problem.

>computer downloaded updates while it was turned off
ok user

This has to be falseflag bait. You can ignore updates indefinitely on Pro/Enterprise.

Street shitters are in full damage control aren't they?

Learn English before you shill you dumb POO IN LOO sub-human.

Why is it [current year] and windows updates still suck so much? It seems like almost every other OS I've tried does updates way better than windows. Maybe the only OS that I hate updating as much as windows is Android.

Why does windows still have a obnoxious loading screen when the computer restarts/shutdown before an update and after the computer boots again? Despite having an SSD the loading screens can still take forever.

The biggest problem is with trying to set up a gaming PC as fast as possible at a LAN party or something. I just want drivers, not security or feature updates since it just needs to play games for now. Windows 10 is great for quickly setting up since you don't have to use a product key or install USB drivers, but the auto updates are annoying.

Ahahaha, user experience? If you don't know your way around Windows 10. You shouldn't even be using any device, let alone running any other operating system.

Everyone knows what Patch Tuesday is, you fucking retard.

Don't bully. "Do/does" is hard.

I do believe you meant "Linux cucks."
>you should use it because it's free!

I was talking specifically about the updates clusterfuck. No other windows has been this disfunctional.
Inb4 simplicity, even Google got Android updates right, and mobile user are known to be way more stupid than the average desktop user.

No, I have used windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and 8 and never cared about this.
Only you 10 cucks know because updates traumatize you enough to remember the date.

>not disabling windows updates
>not reenabling it whenever you want to update

It's like you have brain damage or something.

This is a proper upgrade:
# pacman -Syyu
# mandb

it's not that hard, it just depends on whether the thing you're talking about is currently doing it or not
"don't do it"; thing hasn't been done
"he doesn't do it"; he didn't do the thing

"thing don't have thing" is nonsense

>"he doesn't do it"; he didn't do the thing
"he doesn't do it" = future tense
"he isn't doing it" = present tense
"he didn't do it" = past tense

>botnet 10
>disable anything

>Edgar Allan Poe
Why?

It was a joke.
The rule is much more simple.
Just remember the As"s".
He/she/it - singular, add "s" to verb (he plays, she reads, it does).
They/we - plural, no "s" needed (they play, we read, they do).
I/you - exception, singular, but no "s" needed. (I play, you read, i do).

Similar with past tense, just remember the "d"ick.
If there is "d" already, (like in "did"), don't add "d" to the verb.

You should have been more specific dumb ass. User experience means the whole system experience overall including updating. You mean, no user has been this dysfunctional. Looking at you. Still stand with previous statement. You probably don't even know your way around a linux distro.

>computer actually stays off
ok user

Just deal with it. Be thankful you have a computer to use.

First-world problems, eh? If you don't like it then do something about it other than moaning on an image board.

Thank you! You are nice.

>check for updates before I go to bed
>never have this problem
How's it feel to be brainlet

i hate this shit, but if you think the experience is any easier on linux then you're mistaken. "fixing problems" is just trying a bunch of shit until it magically goes away

why would I?

>people have stuffs to do
>some people are in urgency
ms don't give a fuck about your *urgency* and never will..
top kek

I'm laughing at this

>doesn't know kmspico
lel

keep using apt-get noob

what makes you say that?

>Have Windows 7
>Everything works just fine
>No issues
To be fair i'll probably switch to Linux by the time Windows 7 becomes obsolete

there is that thing called firewall

>can't install from USB
>no official drivers for new CPU's
>can't use without a product key or crack
>doesn't support UEFI by default
>can't split updates separately anymore
>any botnet features of Windows 10 were backported
8.1 makes more sense than 7 at this point. Either that or just install Windows XP.

Ahaha nooooob.
Go Linux

Or you could disable automatic updates in group policy edit.

Good thing I managed to boot 7 in qemu so I won't have to put up with this shit

It's my daily driver, I shitpost all day with it, As well as all my productivity.

alisa nutting
>al is a nutting
kek

people like OP is why windows is the way it is.
>Fuck updates I'd rather use outdated tech
>oh shit I got a virus windows sucks

t. unilingual fat American

Probably not the right thread to post this... but there is no Stupid Questions General up atm. I have a PC with an unactivated Win10 installation
cause of games
, I don't wan't to buy a key cause I'm fed up with it already and wan't to go back to Win7.
In the mean time, how can I remove that damn watermark? It is visible in some programs even though they are displayed fullscreen. Google gives me nothing on this.

Microsoft Toolkit or KMSPico.

Relax man you're PB&J Ultimate game thing will still be there.

This here.

Can't really complain too much when its users are liabilities.

Thanks for replying, but no way to just remove the watermark? Like tampering with some registry keys? I don't want to actually keep the installation, and these cracks always give me the creeps. I'm just to lazy to backup everything and reinstall Win7 right now.

best guhnoo leenucks laptop?

I've been installing Win 7 using a USB for years. Also have DAZ Loader and some common utilities on the same USB.

Not that I would install Windows 7 in this day and age mainly due to the reasons you listed.

If the update process was less obnoxious people would probably keep their stuff up to date on their own. You get addicted to stuff like pacaur -Syu.

I wouldn't mind that shit but holy fuck it takes AGES to install updates. How the hell did microsoft manage to make such a shitty updates system?

Activating with a kms emulator is simple.
Here's the latest version of Microsoft Toolkit magnet:?xt=urn:btih:FB59D3260575A6BFDE6880CE4FF8893D10F01B06
If you don't trust me (and you shouldn't), you can get both that and KMSPico from the official source here forums.mydigitallife.net/forums/kms-tools.51/
You need to create an account to view the threads.

If you're using Microsoft Toolkit then simply run it, click on the windows icon at the bottom, click on the Activation tab and finally click on the button labeled "EZ-Activator"
That will do everything necessary to activate Windows and then keep it activated.

Maybe if the updates weren't slow as fuck and offered easy way to install only essential security updates in a way that user can RELY on windows update to do just that and no more, people would update more often.

This is only a problem for people that need the pc ready at all times for work, are stupid and have lazy IT personnel. I fixed this problem right after install.

Keep fucking up your OS and your users Microsoft, this makes look Linux easier, what a time to live

What kind of ""productivity"" ?

Except i'm in a thirdworld country and there's no first world third world anymore nowadays, okay, everything that happens in first world country will soon happen in third world countries too. We all learn from the same thing now, we're all on par.

The only reason Linux is growing is because the number of pathetic virgins also increased. Pathetic virgins always have these bitterness towards normie culture

install gentoo

a primitive OS
