Install Gentoo
Fuck off
I removed Windows10 because ad popped up on grove music player. But I want to use Windows10 again, is there an ad free version of it without the registery tweaks which doesn't work anyway?
I dont even mind using Edge, I just hate the god damn internal ads. It is worst than what google has done with android.
Install Plan 9 from Bell Labs
>using the built in media programs
kek
Use Enterprise or LTSB
install gentoo you fucking piece of shit
I was using that one when the ads started to pop up. I mean I don't even get ads on youtube on my phone because I have blocked it on my DNS/host files. But Windows ads pass through it. Is there any hope?
update: I went into powershell and repeated the process, windows store no longer appears in apps list. However when I search for it, windows store appears.

Disable Windows 10 Tracking
Insert the external media on which you saved Disable Windows 10 Tracking and right click on the application and select 'run as administrator'. You will be prompted by a User Account Control notification. Accept it. In the application check every setting, select 'delete' as the service method, and verify that the mode is set to 'privacy'. Click 'Go!' and allow it to run. All of these processes could have been performed manually, but would require much more time and effort to complete. After the application has finished, run the application one final time, check 'select all apps', and click 'uninstall selected apps'. This action may take some time. Now is a good time to restart the computer.
So I installed Gentoo because Windows was taking up memory but it still doesn't appear in my laptop and doesn't work fine. Why did it get removed?
you are infected with billy cancer there is now hope
But does it launch. It is probably hard coded to appear as it wasn't meant to be uninstalled. If it launches you have a different problem. Also use a different fucking os you idiot. Besides we aren't your tech support.
> It is probably hard coded to appear as it wasn't meant to be uninstalled
ahh this is the likely reason and no it doesn't launch anymore.
Install LTSB. It's the only good windows 10
If you're using pi-hole there is a blocklist for win10-ads which is integrated but not activated.
use 8 with start8 or 7. or install linux mint xfce and/or gentoo, whatever
Restart your computer
welcome to the botnet, son
And they say Linux is a timesink os
Just install ccleaner and use it to uninstall programs.
>not using the best media player
Use the Win10 decrapifyer V2 Powershell script from SpyceWork forums.
It work great but some (dead)links and icons will remain unless you subsequently create a new user.
>paying for a windows license
>not using their software
if you are going to fiddle and tinker use linux
dont make compromises or stop caring
you can have it inbetween
