You can do whatever you want during the purge, but after it ends the laws are back in place, which means that holding people against their will is illegal once again, so you're better off killing them right before the purge ends.

Same as everyday. In my village there are no foreigners so there is no need to worry about crime. Besides, almost everyone here has a gun at home so I suppose potential raiders would steal from cityfolk who are scared of guns.

It's painful. From beginning to end. It's premise is straight up bonkers and no one raises the obvious problems with it. Except some retarded kid, whose arguments are he doesn't like it. Then the plot develops around the actions of the stupidest group of people ever put under a roof. Seriosuly. It's so stupid it's painful. Because if anyone there had an iq of at least 85, the film would be just some people watching TV through the night.

Then this cringy, angst, teen, dark, edgy death squad arrives and the pain just gets worse.

Seriously, I couldn't watch it to the end because of how mad I was with everything. Mostly mad at the thought that people got paid to write it.

The worst thing in the film was the daughter, everything was so shit but she was especially shit, she wanders the house for no reason and just generally poorly written and acted charcter.

How would apartment buildings work? Would each unit have its own protection or would the entire building shut down? Or college dorms? And in those situations if the landlord is a edge lord he can just kill everyone in the building. Or if theres no protection that will result in lots of property damage and theft and problems the day afterwards if all of the tenants are dead and can't pay rent anymore.
