I used IINA for a while before I had to force myself out of macOS.
It's definitely a good player, but I always had problems with hiding my mouse cursor.

feels great, nothing comes close to mpc-hc out of the box.
mpv is recommended on Sup Forums because it "boots up fast", who the fuck looks for that in a media player? i guess if you have a 7 year old chinkpad with a tn panel with a 7 year old hdd in it, sure.
i have an ssd and a nice monitor, i want my videos to actually look good. mpv can look better if you tweak it, but if we're going down that road, downloading mpc-hc with madvr blows any tweak you make to mpv out of the water. it's just an inferior program out of the box or tweaked.
mpvfags are literally worse than archfags.
