How common is it to see foreign euros in circulation in your cunt?

In France, I see a lot of spanish coins.

It has been a huge change, since our previous money looked like, pic related. It's abbreviation (fl) came from the town of Florence, so we may say that this coin is an European coin too.

In the Netherlands I see a lot of German, French, Italian and Spanish coins. Luxembourgish coins are quite rare here, but we find them regulary. I have a few Greek coins in my wallet right now either, so the distance doesn't really matter.

I see foreign coins just as much as I see ours. Finnish are the most common ones.

I see more German and French euros than Dutch ones. Apparently, we haven't a lot of them

Do you have special coins in your country which onky have a specific worth in your country? Here, we have the Koninklijke Nederlandsche Munt, which offers silver coins on special occasions

In Germany it's pretty much common, in my wallet right now i have, a Spanish one, three from Netherlands, one Lithuania and two from France. Every Time i get new Coins i always check there they came from.

I like how the coins have different reverse sides, makes them fun to collect. I tend to run into German and Italian coins the most regardless of where I go to.

Additionally, I really dislike that each euro is worth so much. Why the fuck do we need cents for if we're designing a currency from scratch?

It would be so much better if it was worth ~10 times less than it is today, so that 1 euro would be equal to what 10 cents are worth today and not have anything lower than that. Otherwise you get this ungodly amount of change. Even after a week abroad you've collected enough 1, 2 and 5 cents to completely fill your wallet.

Furthermore, having a common currency without a common fiscal policy is bound to fail unless the currency is backed by something tangible, like gold.

The country name is usually on it and if it's not then you can usually guess.
