What kind of performance are people seeing on Ryzen?

Depends on how the application uses the CPU, but in general it does nice if all the cores are being used, otherwise the improvement from a 4 core CPU may be limited.

fucking WHEN are we gonna get specs for gen2

its been nearly 4 years since Crystal Cove and we are still on essentially the same specs

What are the best games on VR rn?

hi Sup Forums

Haven't heard anything about the lg headset ever since the first demo. Did it die?

>Limited time only
Not if they actually want to sell shit

Well it's apparently a 6 week sale at least. Then it goes up to $500.

If you have two sensors in front (say placed on wall 3-5 feet apart), do games that require 360 not function or load, or do they instead make you use a button to change angles to front face?

I've been staring at this banner at work all day, I really didn't need this thank you.

Superhot is fucking brilliant if you have touch, even if it does look shirt at first, you still end up getting sucked right in. I smacked my face on my desk trying to dodge some red bastArd shooting at me hough...so make sure you set up guardian right. Elite is immerse as it gets and super comfy but it's not very exciting....I just installed alien isolation yesterday and it runs great on an i5 6600 and 390 gpu but the mod that enables vr is early doors so it's a bit janky. Solus project looks promising but I've only played for about 20 minutes.

Has anyone here used rovr? Strongly considerin getting one as virtuix and cyberith don't seem to be interested in the home market and rovr has a tool that turns your footsteps into wasd, but it don't appear to support jumping or crouching and weirdly it connects with a 3.5mm jack to the pc...so not sure how good it is. The price is not too high either at 500 knicker for the first edition and 700 for the rovr2

I know that feel bro.

What I meant was my work today was partially indirectly working on that banner itself. I don't want VR, fuck VR.

The 360 stuff just means that the game has interactivity in every direction including directly behind you, which means you want tracking also on your back side. Most apps however don't absolutely require it, as they have turning controls (via thumbstick). Turning naturally with your body is much more immersive than using the thumbstick though.

How long is this deal going to last? Should I cave and get this now?

is the screendoor effect and glare/godrays driving anyone else crazy?

I think it ends in a week.

I think it's only an issue if you try to use it as a desktop

not really an issue for me but i am noticing that i have to clean the lense every time i put the rift on...tiny little smudges stick out like a sore thumb...had no idea i could make things greasy just by looking at them.

Your hair might be touching and smudging the lenses. You want to make sure you're putting the front on your face first and then pulling the back strap down. When you take it off, do the same thing in reverse so the lenses never come into contact with hair.

anybody here playing waifu sex simulator on rift know how to grip and move bones?
The most I've gotten it to do is set bones to follow the movement of the left touch. No way to grip/ungrip, no way to use other controller

None of things that happen in the youtube video replicate

What are some good lewd games? None of that vr porn video player normie shit

Resale value for this is still good and once the sales ends you'll be able to resell it used if you don''t like it for how much you bought it. Also if you are in Canada buy it of oculus.com. theres no shipping or taxes.

But it's not HTC Vive
