Ryzen would be great for Laptops but, I doubt we'll see much vega laptops that are worth it. The powerdraw would kill any portability. Even a laptop 1080 can play for solid 1-2h hours while still having decently high clockspeeds. Vega would have to run at pretty low voltages to achieve the same time.
Could be talking out of my ass here, not really trying to bash vega. I just doubt that well see much use of vega in laptops.
