It's already dead in the water as far as Nextbit is concerned.
Michael Powell
Looks very good OP, what about temperature?
John Thomas
I hate how this phone looks. Also the all plastic build quality sucks ass. If you live in countries like mine where it costs 11$/month for 1GB of data this thing is almost a brick. A cheap plastic brick
Andrew Stewart
>If you live in countries like mine where it costs 11$/month for 1GB of data this thing is almost a brick I don't understand what you're trying to say, isn't this valid for any other phone in your case?
Cameron Myers
he's probably talking about no sd card and streaming stuff...
Aaron Fisher
Temps are just fine, haven't noticed it getting hot or slowing down.
Jerryrig is a shill. I literally could not bend my M9 and he claims a child could do it. Also watch his LG gram test, the thing fucking breaks and he covers it up.
While the robin probably can be broken easily, I've not had any issue after dropping it and sitting on it a few times. It is $120, buy two if you are that afraid.
Leo Parker
Because LeEco phones are much better value.
Julian Hughes
> (OP) (You) >Because LeEco phones are much better value.
No headphone jack. Unfucking usable.
William Carter
Those features even if they're an interesting concept, they're kind of gimmicky. More important, they're 100% optional. You can disable the "cloud" features and use it as any other normal smartphone. Or even put LineageOS on it and be done.
Austin Morgan
why do you autists obsess over bend tests??? do you clumsy retards literally have to put 3 point pressure on your phone to use it??
Mason Anderson
I use Bluetooth earphones most of the time so it's fine for me.
Jeremiah Stewart
...
Jack Jones
This is unironically the best looking phone I've ever seen. I literally don't know a better looking smartphone. I may buy it in the future for looks alone.
Jackson Scott
It seems everyone on here is a tech illiterate retard with disgusting taste. I don't even know how you can say that.
Camden Bell
>I may buy it in the future yeah, about that...
Jose Harris
find a better looking phone for $120 with the same specs
Elijah Turner
I know you can't buy them new. I don't intend to buy it new.
Chase Rodriguez
Nice goalpost shift. You said nothing about 'design for the price'. You only mentioned that its flat out the best looking smartphone you've ever seen. Fuck off. I don't care about the cheap pajeetphone market anyway. Enjoy your garbage.
im not that user. Taste is subjective, but the price for what you get is pretty appealing even if you don't it.
Leo Clark
isn't it (((cloud))) based? is it fully open source cause if not it's selling data 100%
Anthony Bell
you have to sign in through google to activate the cloud feature. Could easily install something like lineage if you wanted to.
Oliver Cox
oh, cool then I guess I'm still waiting for the john mcaffee privacy phone, physical disconnect switches for wifi, GSM, mic, cameras and doesn't even make connections to stingrays
Justin Jackson
holy shit I just found out this phone, I'm about to pull the trigger. Please reassure me Sup Forums
Gabriel Butler
Check the specs and read the reviews first
Kevin Sullivan
Rn3p is better and has an SD slot. Bigger battery too. It's unironically the best meme to fall for as far as Sup Forums memes go
Thomas Myers
But it costs twice as much
Bentley Wood
>Why are people not jumping on this phone? Because Xiaomi Redmi 4 series: >Fastest than Robin >Acceptable 3rd party ROM support + stock MIUI >Better specs for the same price >Nice, clean and comfy design without overusing of brand logo >No bootloop Plus >Fingerprint scanner >Capacitive buttons that doesn't waste screen space >Literally two-days battery >MicroSD >Dual SIM >Aluminium body that doesn't break in half >Official support guaranteed for at least 4 years (Xiaomi is still updating the Mi 2)
Lucas Peterson
Pretty sure it's the same autists obsessing over keyboard flex.
Adrian Evans
Because the Nextbit Robin fully supports US GSM bands, Xiaomi phones don't
Do some research, even the Global versions are missing US bands (700mhz B12/B17 for example)
Owen Stewart
>700MHz >Implying it's relevant
Nathan White
It's very relevant. B17 is AT&T's main LTE band, B12 is the band T-Mobile uses VoLTE. 700mhz also has far better range and penetration through walls than the higher frequency bands.
Ian Mitchell
And is also awfully slow, what's the point
Noah Evans
It's still 4G
Isaac White
>I literally don't know a better looking smartphone. >literally You don't even know what this word means
Brody Clark
LTE is 3.5G, not 4G But yeah, slower than HSPA+ but still LTE
Ryan Lee
as the other user said, that band gives you coverage for places you otherwise won't it's not about speed, it's about range you're stupid, stop replying if you lack basic knowledge
Zachary Cox
I don't "killer specs for x", I need killer specs period. And huge dev community.
Austin Robinson
>Yeah it's useless but I prefer having it anyway, Stacy says HSPA is sooooo old fashioned
Jayden Wood
Does it support lte+?
Jordan Scott
because it's not that good any xiaomi is better for a similar price (at least for an european)
Justin Brooks
literally go and fuck yourself
Logan Brooks
>implying amerifat bands are necessary useless garbage, americans are scared of chinks anyway while i enjoy a cheap phone working perfectly in europe
Anthony Cook
>I may buy it in the future Should we tell him, guys?
Matthew Howard
I have a 5x I just replaced with an iPhone. I'll put it on eBay for $120 if anyone wants this amazing phone as the OP describes it.
