Mother fuckers why does the default fonts used by most sites make no distinction between capital "i" and lower case "l"? Fuck that noise.

>"Iliad"

I read this as "Lee-add"

>Illinois

I read this as "Lin-oise".

Just take the existing fonts, and add a proper capital "I".

Install Terminus

CapitaI l is shorter than Iowercase I. l never have probIems distinguishing between the two Ietters, especiaIIy not when they're adjacent.

really makes you think

Everything looks fine in elinks

Because native english speakers can tell the diffrence by context just like how native Japanese speakers can easily tell the diffrence between ソ and ン.

へー、バカ外人

...

dis guy

because pretty much everyone agreed that sans fonts were way more aesthetic, and suited better for digital content. Considering the only differentiating factor between I and l is serifs, you're expected to know which is which.

I also like Sans fonts.

But this is one major glaring issue with Sans fonts I wish they'd fix.

How?

But my font already has a proper capital "L".

how what?
how did he do it? he just exchanged I with l.

How did he change the default font?

kek
I changed the font in the "developer tools"

Why dont you use Burichan style you faggot.
Or force your font of choice in the web browser.

知るか ぼけ

So how does IlIya-chan because アイラちゃん?

It's not aesthetics.

They did tests.
With medium and large sized on-screen fonts most people can sans faster.
With small on-screen fonts most people can read serif faster.
I think in print most people always read serif faster though (no idea why that would be).

>"Iliad"
>I read this as "Lee-add"

>I read this as "Lin-oise".
why would you think the first letter was a lowercase L, and why would there be an upper case i in the middle of the word. Are you retarded?

Suck my click

I assume OP means they read like "LLIAD" and "LLLINOIS".

Which I have to agree with.
You kinda have to know the words to to read them correctly.
No problem with common words but with uncommon words it can be tricky.
