This is normal, it's been done by AMD lots of times before. No one cares.

DELET

>amd cards sold out
>nvidia cards shitting on shelves
hmm

They do this all the time to remove doubts that they are doing some workload sharing fuckery.

Do you really not understand independent and dependent variables?

Since most of the target audience would have an Intel processor, isn't this more useful and arguably less biased?

If it was the other way around you would be shitposting that you need to buy into the AMD ecosystem or "the majority of the population aka people with intel cpus will not have as good performance"

They've been doing this for a while. It's to keep people like you from saying the reason why their GPUs perform like they do is because of their "shitty CPUs."

So now they just do this.

Seems like they just can't win. Shitposters gonna shitpost.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

>Normal

hahahaha

hahahahahaha amd shilling at its best

because their cpus are shit?

DELET DIS

When will Sup Forumsedditors leave?

Imaging being such a kiktel shilling cunt that it doesn't even occur to you that AMD does this to be scrupulously fair when demonstrating new CPU or GPU performance by totally precluding any synergistic advantages from helping them out.

See what I mean?

Why? Ryzen would give better minimums and overall a smoother experience
Fuck my 6700k, had no idea the amount of microstutters I had until I ditched it

>They benchmark their GPU using Intel hardware
>They benchmark their CPU using Nvidia hardware
>They benchmark their CPU at 4K
>They benchmark their GPU at 1080p

How can anyone, outside of linus shill tips fan club take this company serious.

Why are people angry at Linus for being successful and smart with technology? Is it because he can eloquently explain difficult to grasp concepts in a neat and entertainingly package while you are a total noob at tech?

what the fuck has he 'explained' in years? tell him to make a kernel or gtfo.

Um, you ever checkout his techquickie channel? In it he explains lots of things. I'm sorry that even he can't help you understand n key rollover

They want the highest fps possible, seems fine

Where's that slide deck posted?

>More people have Intel so let's better represent our graphics card to give them clearer results

This. The
Is is purely CYA against intel fanboys claiming that there is some secret code that makes the vega perform better on ryzen.

AMD's marketing has always been horrendous, just look at Polaris.

If you will shill the max frame rate of the card, the intel chip is the best option.
If you going to shill the min frame rate of the card, the AMD chip is the best option.
I bet Nvidia will do just that to raise their average frame rate shilling.

That's the fastest quad-core available, and since most games don't use more than four cores, they used it.

What's the problem? Everyone knows Ryzen benefits from core count, and not single-core performance.

I dont trust AMD since the Fury X Hbm overhype

Why does the CPU matter if they're showcasing a GPU?

Are you actually retarded?

AYYMD IS FINISHED & BANKRUPT

M-MUH SHEKELS!

BUY MY CARDS GOYIM!

>tfw own Ryzen and get hyped whenever I start multitasking

Fuck, I love this 1700x.

I want a Ryzen so bad, i hate my i5 6600k now.

Intel doesn't make graphics cards you mong

another day another monkey favela shit tier thread

there is a reason as to why they didnt choose ryzen and 1.7.7.2 drivers also there is a reason as to why half of the systems had 1080 and 1080tis

sure thing, redteam+ cuck

ADVANCED MARKETING DECEPTION

Yeah! He explained how I can get one free month of Audible™ Audiobooks really fast!

Intel shitposters gonna shitpost. Who knew!

because many gaymehrs use intel cpus?

If they were doing comparison benchmarks then I would understand it, keep the hardware the same and just use a different GPU. Intel is neither Nvidia nor AMD so there would be no bias in the results.

Perhaps that's what they were going for here as well, but it doesn't really make sense because they're not comparing it to anything. Unless the information from the slides was taken from a comparison benchmark which is not in the slides.

because the 7700k is the best gaming CPU?

Well, until coffelake came out maybe and devs start developing for both new intel and amd new cores CPU.

because amd cpus are shit?

>AMD uses intel cpus with their gpus and nvidia gpus with their cpus for ages now
>incel and novideo fags still think it's something special

Because they are sandbagging with a worse processor (in this case, it's the 7700K).

Prepare you anus when they show off Vega with a Ryzen 7 processor, fuckturd.

>and devs start developing for both new intel and amd new cores CPU
t. non-dev

>not specifically optimizing your code for amd's branch predictor

nope

>A game that was originally made with 2 cores in mind released in 2011 got an update for more cores in 2015.
Why do you think these days most AAA game on steam got minimum an i5 for their games?

the only video of his i watched was them making a full room watercooling system to pump heat out of their room to reduce aircon costs. then not insulate the copper pipes and deem it a failure because it didnt remove any heat from the room. what a fucking moron

>Why bother develop games for multiple cores
>One is more than enough.
youtube.com/watch?v=0p8Ymt_ZKxM

non-arguments

the 6 core mainstream flagship coffee lake will shit all over any ryzen/ryzen 2 in games

>coffee lake will kill it
Oh, another one.
Did ovenlake-x kill Ryzen?

Thanks for agreeing with me.
I knew not all intelfags got brain damaged.

Now intelfags can "just wait" while AMD enjoying the current year market.

Look, it's a fucking dumbass

lol ryzen was too little too late

most serious gamers already bought 7700k or other intel cpus

coffee lake is literally just around the corner

theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/3015231/intel-will-begin-production-of-8th-gen-coffee-lake-cpus-this-month

>most serious gamers already bought 7700k or other intel cpus
> Intel's upcoming 8th-gen 'Coffee Lake' CPUs will use a new version of the LGA 1151 socket
I feel sorry for them, not even a year and it already became obsolete.
Let's "Just wait" if the future buyer will be more lucky.

The 7700k is the best gaming CPU. Period.
2nd, 3rd, and all the way to 50th is all taken by Ryzen.

7700k isn't obsolete at all idiot. 7700k beats ryzen in most real scenarios. it's only with amd that you need to update as frequently as once every 1-2 gens. people are still getting by sandy bridge and older.

Well when you say it like that you could make anything sound stupid.

>isn't obsolete at all idiot
>at all
Ouch.
>people are still getting by sandy bridge and older.
Are you just implying that newest intel CPU doesn't worth to upgrade for or there is a reason involving hardware limitation?
Mama intel will hate you for saying this.

just because a better cpu comes out doesn't mean the old ones stop working. kill yourself shill/amd shareholder

So the new one indeed better, shame the owner only got less than a year mobo life expectation.

...

yeah have fun spending $200+ (needed for overclockability and high speed ram support which is crucial for acceptable ryzen performance) on your """"future-proof"""" motherboard so you can spend even more money on yet another cpu just 1-2 generations down the road

meanwhile the intel customer buys 1 cpu and 1 motherboard and the pc will last for many years without becoming obsolete

fucking retarded shill

intel fanboy is mad

amd shill has no argument

>meanwhile the intel customer buys 1 cpu and 1 motherboard and the pc will last for many years without becoming obsolete
Funny, I wonder why Intel so eager to released a consumer 6 cores variant if they thing their current one wont get obsolete, isn't this just like telling developer to finally start using more cores.
Hm....

>understanding variables
>understanding correlation at all
You are in Sup Forums, most people here struggle at basic algebra.

it's not my fault that intel cpu become obsolete every year dude

you're making no sense. your argument is contrived and forced, because you're a shill. they're just releasing better tech, that's all. coffee lake will RAPE ryzen/ryzen 2.

>they're just releasing better tech,
Are you saying the current intel line up is bad they need to release a new one 6 months after the mighty 7700k came out for no reason?
Man, something must be rustle them recently.

Is it even legal?

Just upgrade to the 6700K, you can probably find one used for a good price.

This is the most backward post I have ever read. It's like you're confusing AMD and intel

Amd is best because reality is often contrasted with what is imaginary, illusory, delusional, (only) in the mind, dreams, what is false, what is fictional, or what is abstract. At the same time, what is abstract plays a role both in everyday life and in academic research. For instance, causality, virtue, life, and distributive justice are abstract concepts that can be difficult to define, but they are only rarely equated with pure delusions. Both the existence and reality of abstractions are in dispute: one extreme position regards them as mere words; another position regards them as higher truths than less abstract concepts. This disagreement is the basis of the philosophical problem of universals.

>radeon chill reduces power consumption from 285W to 128W

????

Intelcucks are braindead, more at 11

Not very surprising since AMD GPU drivers have shit multithreading so if they want to compete with NVIDIA they have to go with the CPU with best single thread performance.

NVIDIA has properly multithreaded drivers so on Ryzen setup NVIDIA GPUs should pull ahead in especially DX11 games.

>Not very surprising since AMD GPU drivers have shit multithreading

In DX11. In DX12 the situation is entirely reversed, and it's Nvidia's driver that struggles with multithreading. Given that AMD seem to mostly be testing in DX12 (which makes sense given it favours them), your reasoning is illogical.

They do this for 1:1 parity of benchmarks with Nvidia.

In DX12 it's the game dev who has to write the multithreading for each GPU architecture.

It's also the reason why AMD prefers DX12. It saves them a ton of money because the game devs have to do what would be traditionally driver teams job.

It's also one of the reasons why NVIDIA does so bad in DX12, the game devs aren't simply doing as good job as their driver engineering team would. It doesn't help that NVIDIA GPU architecture is a bit of a black box to devs as NVIDIA is not too open about how their GPUs function. For example Maxwell having a tiled rasterizer was found out accidentally.

This statement is exactly why I support AMD.

I'm glad you were made aware of a great product by an even greater channel :)
See that's what makes him such a great guy. The whole idea was his and his alone. He was brace enough to admit on camera that sometimes even and expert such as himself was wrong. It's what makes him credible. You'd probably lie and say it was a success to save face. That makes you not credible and not an expert.

Holy shit Sup Forums is retarded...

I hope this isn't your first time realizing this.
