Maximum productivity

time to talk about ergonomic seating

pic related - positive seating

behold, the son of man

...

where can I find a chair like this user?

...

books under the chair is technology

Doesn't this put too much pressure on the knees though? I have a bad left knee from a clutch from my previous shitty car.

according to some people, the forward sloping chair has already been discredited

your mileage may vary, best is to try it out

Why not use a device that grabs the back of the head and holds it in place above what the slave is supposed to be working on?
By forcing employees to not be able to look away from their menial tasks you can increase productivity

a claw of such description is too expensive and likely not ergonomic

Postures thread is really needed on Sup Forums.
What's best position to use laptop?
I got pic related, in attempt to help with my backpain, but ended up giving me neck pain.

>posture thread
>no mention of standing desks

>come back from hard day at work
>have to stand to unwind from the shitty day.
I think those were meant to be used in space.

>The virgin sit

>a hard day in space
>marihuana, floating and shitposting
whoa
DUDE

What's that?

Whatever

Doesn't that hurt you when sitting for long periods or when watching?

This is my "battle station", And I have no idea how should I mount it.

Since I tend to slouch and spend long hours sitting, I put a few pillows and blankets behind my back to support it.
But I still get lower back pain, and I even got pilonidal sinus from sitting like that.
Any tips to improve the sitting posture?

where's your pillow waifu?

I don't have one.
I use a blanket scented with women perfume, and sleep while listening to recordings of woman heartbeats.

The most important part of ergonomic seating is a monitor arm

I use a low lounge chair that isn't adjustable. I've become skilled at sitting on my feet like the Japs plus my cat likes to hang out with me on it.

how do you sit on your feet?

pic related

None, I can't bend my knees like that without pain.
>tfw 27 yo but with knees of 77 yo

Use a standing desk.

some people cant concentrate when standing

Too bad, bro

...

...

ultimate in comfort

Interesting argument, I find that I can concentrate a lot better when I'm standing. I'm not memeing or anything.

Who is this Linux succubus?

...

>got a big ol' tilting leather desk chair with a back high enough to rest my head on
>never been more comfortable at my PC in my life

Nice void dubs

CIA safe house?

comfortable =/= alert

Can't focus on your work if you have to keep moving around to stay comfortable.

comfort is subjective, alertness is not subjective

Sorry you're a babby who can't help falling asleep just because you're comfy.

>filthy sitting plebs:
>lower productivity
>more prone to injuries
>lower life expectancy
>lower sexual attractiveness due to the submissive nature of their posture

>standing master race:
>incredibly productive
>fewer injuries
>increased life expectancy
>highly attractive to the other sex; standing fully erect all the time signals dominance and assertiveness

What's your excuse Sup Forums?

i identify as an informal women lol

I think you mean GNU+Linux

I slav squat. How ergonomic is that?

>space
>floating
LOL I bet you also think movies are real.

You're doing it right now.

context? More?

>posterior throacic tilt which causes the anterior neck muscles to fatigue, and places resistance stress on posterior neck muscles
>sustained stance position of hips and knees while inhibiting frequent load shifting despite near full load -- leading to long term joint wear and even longer term muscle and tendon damage
>sustained calf muscle tension with similar effects as above
>tilting the axial structure nearly 30 degrees out of vertical alignment leading to unusual aberrations in how the vestibular system has to compensate for differences in body attitude
>no elbow support leading to excessive traction by the weight of the arms on the shoulders which is then passed on to the neck and cranial muscles

that set up might be good for a switch up for about 10 minutes, but its injury-promoting after 25 minutes

How the fuck did they make the desk float in the air???

see a PT -- they will fix that problem in 3 visits if they're any good, assuming you don't have congenital problems or major injuries

>visiting a quack to further damage your body so you're forced to return to them

topkek frankenstein invention

That will be made abundantly clear to you once you buy a standing chair, user.

jesus christ

I've seen that porn video. She gets flipped backwards and all holes get filled by three ripped black dudes. Shit's hot.

>Locking your knees

I'm working during summer as a cashier and I have the choice to seat on a stool on a semi-standing position or just standing.
The best solution is to change your position every 15 minutes so i don't have any pain at the end of the day.

...

any type of sitting is damaging to the spine over a long time. squat for perfect ergonomixx. when squatting your bloodflow is better, better digestion, even shitting in squat position
squat guys

very

sauce

ruin your knees
