I don't have experience with people everywhere in the world but I'd say Canadians are pretty nice

you either move to a meh tier part of canada with job opportunities or you move to an amazing part of canada with low job opportunity

that's pretty much how it works here ngl

Proficiency Exam

Canada is great.
Toronto + Great global city, lots of jobs (-) It's work city. You work first you play later
Vancouver + Hot weather, great outdoors (-)Incredibly high housing prices and a relatively boring city
Montreal + Lively, greatly multicultural and low rent prices. (-) The jobs are focused in certain areas and french is mandatory to have a decent job.

Ottawa, Quebec City, Calgary are also great cities where you can make a decent living whatever you do.

I forgot, if you can land a job in the Maritimes, it"s a super great place to stay too.

You need to get at least 150kms into Vermont, NH and Maine before people stop speaking french.
