Yes. They keep pronouncing /r/ like they normally would. How fucking hard can it be? If you can't pronounce alveolar trills then at least use gutteral r's. Nor are they capable of pronouncing sj (ɧ), tj (ɕ), å, ä and ö.
I just switch to English because I can't stand to listen to my language being butchered. It's enough that we have to listen to the Danes in the south and their ""Swedish"".

I've heard the same. Supposedly standard Swedish (rikssvenska) would've been a mix of Stockholm Swedish and Åbo (Turku) Swedish if Finland was still a part of Sweden. Since that was the center of power during that era. Helsinki would've been some backwater port city.
