おそらくネイティブの理科好きの人には、普通の文章なのだと思う。BBCの英文は自分には難しめで理科好きだけれど宇宙系は苦手なこともあり、かなり読むの大変だった。
でも自分の好きな分野ならばもう少し楽だし、論文とか文献とかになるとキリでも読んで分からないんじゃないかと思う。
コミュニュケーションの為の英語が重視されていて否定する訳ではないのだけれど、
重要なのは英語で何をするかなのだと思う。
別に外国人に道を教えたりマクドナルドで買い物できるために習うわけでもないし、英会話で友達を増やすためにとも思わない。
英語を英語だと思って聞くからだめなんだ。
