The Holodomor (Ukrainian: Гoлoдoмóp, "Extermination by hunger" or "Hunger-extermination"; derived from мopити гoлoдoм, "to kill by starvation"), also known as the Terror-Famine and Famine-Genocide in Ukraine, was a man-made famine in the Ukraine in 1932 and 1933 that killed an estimated 2.5–7.5 million Ukrainians, with millions more counted in demographic estimates. It was part of the wider disaster, the Soviet famine of 1932–33, which affected the major grain-producing areas of the country.
Y-you aren't saying t-that those lives are irrelevant just because they aren't Semitic or dark-skinned, are you?
no Soviets were Soviets. it didn't matter if you were a nigger or a finn. (same thing really) you were a Soviet.
Russians are famous for revisionistic bullshit and switching the idea of being a Russian to whatever fits the moment.
Oliver Bailey
>Russia >Apologizing for literally anything
lel. Not only do they refuse to own up to shit, but they try to shift the blame onto the victim
Adrian Cox
Protip: When asking questions like >When will Russians apologize for the _____? the answer (if present at all) is always >Never. with occasional addition of >They deserved it. >They made us do that. >They did that first. >We were the victims. or more recently >Where are the proofs?

Starving the farmers was necessary in order to rapidly industrialize for the upcoming war. All of the USSR, not just the Ukraine, suffered under the 5 year plans.
Giving the famine a special name for Ukrainians won't change that fact. So relax, and get back to work, Szczyz.
Austin Anderson

Jaxson Sullivan

Jordan Hughes
Oh that's great irony.
Joseph Hill
>no Soviets were Soviets.
If so, then why does Russia have all the privileges/obligations of the Soviet union?
Say what you want but the Soviets were a Russian phenomenon.
It was basically the old prison of nations of Czarist times but with a modern, humanistic color.

According to Spengler bolchevism was an expression of the Asiatic part of Russian nature. The nobility especially after Peter the Great was far to European-minded while the common mudzhik had an untamed Asiatic violent nature acquired since the middle ages.
